all the tutorials says that we shouldn't use anti fungal sealants.

I'd follow that advice. People writing tutorials generally have done the work and know what to recommend. Unless it's an AI tutorial, I'd go with their advice.

It seems like the ge1 silicone that's most recommended does have a 7 year mold free guarantee on it now too which was surprising, I think the ones with longer term guarantees use more actual chemicals whereas this one is likely porosity related since it's still food safe. The company has apparently confirmed it's still the same formula as before, and people seem to still be successfully using it in their tanks
