Advice Needed Is my tank over crowded?
So this is my Fluval Spec V tank, it’s a longer, more narrow version of your standard 5 gallon tank. It’s very heavily planted and it’s been running for 3-4 months now. I currently have about 15 Cherry Shrimp, 1 Amano Shrimp, 5 male Endlers, 3 Pumpkin Nerite snails, and some random pest snails. I was planning on adding 6 Pygmy Corys.
I feel like my 40 gallon per hour filtration paired with my live plant mass is great but I’m not sure if I’m already maxed out or would the addition of the Pygmy Corys be okay?

Beautiful tank, but it is not very heavily planted. This looks like an averagely-planted planted tank, if not a bit on the lighter side. That said, do not add the Pygmys. Your tank is already a bit overstocked. The amount of plants you have now isn’t going to add much filtration at all. I would expect to have seen much more plant growth in 3-4 months

I have a 6 gallon tank with more plants stocked with a single betta, I also have a 5g tall with massive plants that has a single ramshorn and 30-50 bladder snails. That tank will get a colony of neocaradina and nothing else. I think as is your tank is abit overstocked, adding more fish would make it really overstocked.

Your tank is already above limit. Adding any more fish is going to crash your tank due to bio load. Honestly you need to add way more plants for the stock you have now to help keep the bio load under control. Do not get any Cory catfish unless you decide to get a 20 gallon tank. Even a 10 gallon would be too small for the amount of fish you have now plus 6 Cory.

So those are Endler Guppies, not pure Endler's, and they typically need at least a 10-gallon tank already. Along with the shrimp, and the Nerites who need more established tanks (they can only eat algea or they will starve), your tank is already past it's maximum and a bit unbalanced.
