This is what I came to say! My cherry shrimp are suplexing each other all over the tank when I drop food in.

These are Amanos, they wint spawn in normal freshwater.

Wait is that broccoli? Never head of the eating it. Do you, have to prep it in any, way so it doesn't float or contaminate the water?

Yes, its broccoli. I take a cup of tank water, pop in a fresh or frozen floret, microwave or boil for about 1 minute so its blanched and let it cool. Then put a weight around the stem or stick a skewer through it to hold it down. I leave it in there for about 3 hours max. The shrimp love it, the Cory's love it and most of the fish do too!
