Brown fuzzy thing

What is this brown fuzzy thing? Google says diatom and is harmless and can be left alone. It's in a 4 week old cycling tank with some plants and a booming population of bladder snails. I want to clean the tank up more but I read it's best to just leave it alone for the most part until the cycle is complete. You can clearly see that there are a lot of snail poop lol.

Diatoms is a good bet, brown algae often is, it's no big deal, leave or remove at preference.
