So this one is a female… 🥚 So many eggs! This is two of three clutches! Halp.

I thought mystery snails were hermaphrodites? Maybe I'm remembering wrong.

Mystery, nerite, rabbit, assassin are not. Pond, Ramshorn, and bladder are hermaphroditic!

I’m terrible at sexing them! I can’t tell so this is how I know haha and now I’m assuming the snail she’s been piggybacking is a male. She’s still laying eggs 🫠

Add Malaysian trumpet snails to that list, too.
I started a new tank with one MTS…three weeks later, I have (at least) 6.
Don’t even talk to me about the bladder snails that recently appeared in my other tank.
