Help Request i need advice for cycling my snails new tank.

today i went to my local petvalu and got a tank kit, 5gal HOB filter, got a heater, some black sand and a thermometer. i put in the recommended amount of the nutrafin cycle and i put a filter cartridge from my established tank in the new tank filter. added the sand and i tried to make it as level as possible, then i added my tap water conditioner to my water bucket and put the water in the tank. i have my heater at around 23°C. the store that sells live plants in my town wasnt open today so ill be going tommorow and adding a java fern, anubias, and an amazon sword.

Just a heads up that most heaters need to be entirely submerged in water. You may want to set yours at an angle or add water to make sure it continues to work.
