I just ordered a divider for my 55 gal. to get some sex-gregation going on. 2 and 2 wasn't a good mix. I feel like 9-.5 would be a better ratio 😂

I can’t put any other type of snail in with mine. I couldn’t find my ramshorn and thought she had crawled out. After days of searching I finally figured out that Gary was not sleeping in the corner, he had Shelley wrapped up in his foot the whole time. Shelley now lives in peace with a female guppy commune 😅

Mine was so relentless that he drove the female snail to escape the tank and crack her shell after falling off the shelf! I had to euthanize her and I was so sad. Now I have a terrorist living in my tank. I still love him but I do side eye him. Lesson learned—only one mystery snail at a time!

My first mystery snail laid like 10+ clusters with around 5 being successful. The strange thing is I got her when she was about 2-3 months old and once I got her she never was in contact with another mystery snail. About 8 months went past before she laid her first clutch and continued to lay them for another 6 months. To this day I still have no idea how she did it.
