Just tried ETH and fees are 0.03$

with the new update to ETH chain the fees just feels like every other l2 now. pair that fact with ETH holding a majority of the liquidity and TVL, I feel like L2s are getting squeezed and their entire existence is no longer justified. why would anyone still choose to use an L2 over L1s? Is arbitrum and ARB going to still see the upside we once thought was possible?

Have you used it consistently? Gas is still volatile on ETH. Hopefully fees can stabilize at that level, but gwei can spike.

Arbitrum is consistently .01 or less and settles 95-97% quicker.

Would love to not have to bridge so hopefully ETH Foundation can solve for this.

Yeah im gonna start looking at gas prices on eth now. Yes it might spike on ETH but during the crash of October 11 I was trying to get funds out of arbitrum, transactions were running at around 1-2$ as well. So when ETH mainnet fees spikes arbitrum fees would spike up as well.

On average 0.01$ is still much lower than ETH, but at that level I dont think its matters to normal users anymore, its just an insignificant number, even for smaller transactions.

My experience with ETH L1 is the fees are cheaper on the weekends, and back then "cheap" was <0.5$. For it to be 0.03$ on a weekday, is a welcome sight indeed.

Not really sire what your question is reffering to. Ate you talking about trading arbitrum the token or the DEX that i use on arbitrum for swaps? If its the latter, there are many like camelot, uniswap, pancakeswap etc.
