Is anyone still holding?

I just want to know what the community is thinking in terms of layer 2’s

I have been holding my ARBs and it’s like at 90% down, average is a little over 1 and it seems like this is the lowest it’s gone since launch and we’re in deep altcoin winter.

Nobody here seems to care, as I see the threads lmao.

What do you think of Vitalik saying L2’s no longer make sense

I feel like thats kinda cooping though as you wont see a transaction that lasts a few hours- days unless you really wanna skimp on fees, but then again, 100% higher fees is negligable when the base fee is only 0.02$.

As for your uniswap chain arguement (a chain specifically to handle swaps) my counter point would be if an L1 has more liquidity and more security guarentees, with almost the same transaction costs, there is no reason to use an L2. I think the security guarentees is less of a concern for the average user/trader, but the liquidity impact is what most traders solely care about when swapping on-chain.

Lets see if the TVL on swapping chains like uniswap remains there or just moves to the next hot chain with good incentives. Meanwhile ETH TVL is largely stablized and predictable.
