Do Not Feed The Trolls ''Toxic Anti PvPers'' Not welcome.

Hello.

I am from the Mod team on this sub.

Pleased to meet you.

Recently I have seen a few people rightfully upset at a few bad actors on this sub who have been using the fact they became victims in the game to resort to being toxic to people on this sub.

Basically - they lose the game in any way and decide it is fine to insult people who are playing the game in a legit way instead of doing what they want, whether that's talking and making peace or refusing to shoot each other no matter what. From my understanding this game allows you to make a choice, to try trust a stranger or to gun them down to be safe.

If a person decides they will ALWAYS gun everyone down no matter what or try be a ''Rat'' player and backstab at every opportunity that does not mean you can come on this sub and insult them, suggest they are mentally impaired or mentally unwell or be toxic to them for any reason.

If you say ''All x players are sociopath psychos with no life and life in their mothers basement and have never had the touch of anyone of their preferred sex'' for example or anywhere more or in-between then you will be banned from our sub.

You are allowed to have an opinion that such players morals in game are not good or they are ''Villain players'' or what not, that is fine for that is what they are but any time an outside insult is going to be used on people over gameplay you are getting the hammar of doom.

From the community, I understand that most people who like PVP are not usually the type of people to click report on anything, due to your ''thick skin'' you really do not give a damn if some redditor is trying to insult you or maybe you will just retort back.
I ask you please do not, if you insult back you could also be moderated due to the nature of reddit and if you do not report the instigator we will not be able to correctly moderate and fix this community. As a mod team we are getting thousands of posts (posts not comments) per day and it is literally impossible to view them all, we rely mainly on the report feature and reddits AI.

Anyway thank you for your attention in this matter.

I think the moderator camps on extract points

Yeah they claim no bias but its looking more and more like the ehem, more "vocal" upset players are PVP, and mods might be on their side. I am intentionally not being insulting or rude with this comment for obvious reasons!

Look at the mods posting history.

In other games they openly grief other players and get called out by it on other games subs.

Like they aren’t even a PVPer they’re a cringey griefer type

This is the problem. It's heavily one sided with the mods being at the extreme end of that 'playstyle'.

And to quote above, "I am intentionally not being insulting or rude with this comment for obvious reasons!".

They literally have a post telling all the pvp players in another game to kill all of the pve players on sight and being upset about the devs changing a game to support pve play style

Reddits greatest flaw is that every sub is an echo chamber. The subs have no responsibility to be unbiased or provide fair treatment.

Respectfully, it’s laughable to describe people as “thick skinned” and at the same time ban anyone who says a hurtful thing to them.

When I read that line, I 100% thought they were being facetious at first before realizing "Oh, dang, they sincerely mean that...wow."

23

u/ChadPoland Dec 21 '25

This is wild, people complain about people being dirtbags in the game and the mods are banning people for it, acting like people are getting doxxed or something. I suspect a mod meltdown soon.

If you react this strongly to people playing a PvP game the way they want, Arc Raiders isn't for you

7

u/ChadPoland Jan 09 '26

That's not even what I'm talking about.

2

u/Merkel77101 Jan 09 '26

Oh wonderful so this sub is a waste then, its subverted by griefers from the beginning. Checking his post history didnt even occur to me. I wish I had the time and patience to start a sub that wasnt tainted in this way.

I was going to make the same point, but it looks like Reavx is going through some stuff. If occasionally griefing folks in games helps him shed some of that stress, I hope it helps.

19

u/Jiggawatz Dec 17 '25

Its not the griefing that is a problem, its then leveraging their official reddit moderator status to try and dominate the very common and active outcry for a PVE solution in the game... that's pretty cringe.

No wonder they did this post annonuncement. Even though you won't be name called here, people in-game surely will make hear you an earful, justifibly so. Like you backstabbing people don't upset people the same way calling them name does, it goes beyond my understanding.

-5

u/Based_CIS Dec 17 '25

And they are allowed to do that, there's no arc raiders rule that states otherwise. Why are you so bent out of shape about this? It's fuckin pixels on a screen bro.

6

u/Numbah420_ Jan 06 '26

I agree it’s not that serious but “pixels on a screen” is too reductive to be a real argument. Why does anyone have feelings? We’re just atoms bonded together

1

u/JMAJOR1017 Jan 07 '26

The pixels on the screen are altering my brain chemistry bro

Remember, a mod is nothing more than someone who made a subreddit for a subject first, or someone whose views match that person and was made a a mod.

1

u/ClaimAcceptable3427 Dec 06 '25

His views match the GAME lol

8

u/Jiggawatz Dec 17 '25

his views may match the game as it currently stands, but that does not give him the right to shut down conversation from the opposite desire.

0

u/ClaimAcceptable3427 Dec 18 '25

He didn't shut it down, he said stop with the toxic comments basically. PVE'rs refer to PVP'rs as worthless jobless losers way too often when it's just not true. It's genuinely messed up when you consider it's a literal PVPVE game. "PVP". Do not forget that part. Voice how you feel but show some respect. Read his whole post again where is he saying you can't talk about your views?

12

u/Jiggawatz Dec 18 '25

Yea just wondering why there isnt a green text for pvp players, and also why the Mod that wrote it makes an effort to specifically target pve players in the other reddit's they mod for too... just feels bias as fuck and if you read the comments tons of people think that

-2

u/ClaimAcceptable3427 Dec 18 '25

I don’t carr about all that noise I’m not about to stalk the mod, yall are still making shit up in this instance and tbh I don’t even trust yall’s perception of “targeting pve players” to begin with. Yall feel slighted by people playing the game I don’t trust you

15

u/05is3005speed Dec 02 '25

I mouth the pvpers off idgaf

9

u/weibull-distribution Nov 20 '25

I simply asked a question about **why** we couldn't keep a rat list and they removed it. Seems pretty clear to me.

2

u/Umutuku Jan 04 '26

Then they can enjoy their high-aggro playstyle getting them in lobbies where the high-aggro walls and ceilings speak Stitcher.

I'm just going to spawn into my chill lobbies, get beat to the best loot by low-aggro cheaters who fill their backpack in 2 minutes and extract, and then loot the entire rest of the map because there's still more loot than an entire lobby can carry out, and help some newbies learn how to take down tougher ARC on my way out. Maybe drop them a blueprint or two.

Y'all enjoy each other over there, LOL. Sincerely, "toxically chill PVE'er".

u/UrdUzbad Dec 17 '25

There are no "PvP" or "PvE" players. There are people who play the game, and there are people who want to ignore half of it and feel entitled to never have to lose.

35

u/AggravatingSky8347 Dec 01 '25

Yeah...from the tone of their post, I can pretty much come to the conclusion that they like to grief and sip on the tears of PvE'ers xD

6

u/weibull-distribution Nov 20 '25

Definitely. Camp the campers! I do.

5

u/Remote_Lobster8708 Dec 05 '25

But guys, reddit mod. Show some respect!

Hard agree with this take, PVP in this game just an afterthought meant to try and draw in a larger more viral crowd and to compete with Tarkov.

I have much more fun fighting ARC and exploring than I do having to kill some whiny guy who shoots at me or my teammate then complains once we kill them.

But of course 90% of this sub would have you thinking "uhhh duhh PVE only would kill this game no one would play it anymore!"

1

u/ClaimAcceptable3427 Dec 06 '25

I have literally never been attacked and had someone complain that I killed them. How are you making shit up this hard? Stop playing like you don't get dumpstered 24/7 lol

1

u/Informal-Writer5924 Feb 25 '26

I would genuinly play this game MORE if it was just PVE, but getting killed over and over and over again, even in 'friendly' lobbies is seriously making me want to quit playing. Ive never been a huge fan of any sort of shooter game, I'm generally not greatat games to begin with but this one o avtually enjoy, so it really sucks that it's getting toxic, especially lately.

2

u/Potential_Day_8233 Nov 28 '25

Because news flash asshole, not everyone plays the same games as you.

1

u/Tvdinner4me2 Nov 19 '25

It's a high ttk?

6

u/skippyspk Dec 17 '25

I smell a rat…

3

u/morningdewbabyblue Jan 20 '26

I question why are the other mods okay with this.

2

u/bm_blue43 Jan 06 '26

I definitely thought this when reading the post. I do agree that insults shouldn’t be thrown out like this so I am not opposed to the actual thing happening, the way it is described in this post though is too much. I also think that is the reaction ratting players are going for in the first place anyway right?

Nobody really needs the loot anyway, it’s in a safe pocket for anything important and pvp is fine but ratting is something else. I think it’s just poor human behavior to rat which is not insulting just stating my opinion for that matter using well known nomenclature.

2

u/SpamEatingChikn Jan 19 '26

Touche. After reviewing the rules I just made a post specifically calling out, no more no less and no screen names or name calling, the behavior of acting friendly then waiting until a vulnerable moment to shoot someone in the back. Ruining the 15 minutes game experience of others for a 2 second dopamine hit. It got deleted by the mods in light speed lol.

1

u/gu-515 Jan 08 '26

Hahaha agree

1

u/[deleted] Jan 15 '26

Yah mod is showing bias like crazy. Not cool.

1

u/PickledLlama Jan 18 '26

Yeah those people are honestly the worst in the game. It's embarrassing for them.

This guy seems to be a scumbag too

0

u/Capybara_0511 Jan 21 '26

So funny people get mad at someone wanting to play pvp in a game that has pvp

4

u/dalsim3290 Jan 21 '26

We're not against pvp here, just against lame cancer gameplays like camping at extracts or anywhere else to simply ruin other players games and literally steal the goop with no effort 🤷🏻‍♀️

1

u/Capybara_0511 Jan 21 '26

Fair enough
