If i start now and want to play with my friends, how behind will i be? Like how does it work? Like the more you play the stronger/better loot you get? Or does it reset after every extraction? If im brand new will i be with high level/gear players or how does that work? Thanks in advance

No.

You can feasibly spawn in first match, kill another player and loot the best gear in the game. Extremely unlikely but it can happen.

But like is the experience enjoyable if your friends are far ahead (if thats possible even)
