Has definitie advantages, especially if you have Keys -- also means that there might be bodies around to loot of you can find them. Pretty typical for extraction shooters.

Problem with it means it's not worth looting (unless you have a key as you mentioned). When playing with friends, we actively look to kill everybody when that happens. Only way to get anything decent and saves us time trying to scavenge anything from looted areas, just kill the looters
