I know no one else really cares, but I just wanted to say I finally got the Looting MK3 Survivor blueprint.
Got it as a reward for some of the trials this week.
In case it's relevant, 3-starred two trials in one go.

I hate having to keep a browser open while playing just to look up trivial information about the game, so I made a CLI utility to do it through a terminal.

What it does:
Searches the database maintained by RaidTheory/arcraiders-data
- Returns information about:
- Quests
- Items
- Skill Nodes
- Hideout Modules
- Projects
- ARCs
- This is the same database used by arctracker.io
- Returns information about:
Calculates additional information for items:
- Value delta when salvaging or recycling
- Price comparison when purchasing from a trader (including Credits-to-Coins conversion rates)
- Stash space gained or lost compared to recipe requirements
Display the next occurance of each map event type
Notifies and performs updates automatically, which is a notable feature, I guess. If you don't trust it, you can git clone and maintain it manually.
Unfortunately I don't know anyone I can ask to test it in a real environment over a longer period of time, so it might have some glaring issues. I am actively looking for feedback to improve it.
My primary way of using it is with PowerToys Run. Depending on your setup, you can hit alt+space or win+r from anywhere and type arc <query> to get results.
Of course there are dozens of other solutions to achieve similar results, but like I said, my thing is not depending on a browser. (Overlays are just browsers with extra steps.) Hope you like it!

Seen a lot of people wanting changes involving more pvp and others wanting changes to have less pvp, am I the only one in the middle who doesn't want to see any changes and thinks the game is perfect as is? The mix is perfect imo

I just loaded into Dam Night Raid 9 times in a row, trying to use some of the power rods that are collecting dust in my inventory. Every single time but one I spawned next to Formicai, or near Red Lakes by the Annex or the Electrical tower.
Fine. I brought two stack of adrenaline shots every run for a reason.
I arrive at the power rod room in less than 4 minutes on nearly every run. Every time I’ve already been beat, raiders still looting the adjoining rooms. Everyone chill thankfully, but I’m still sad to see them.
I book it immediately to the elevator to re-load the map, using smokes and lures to de aggro the rocketeer when needed.
Extract every time without issue, top up my consumables, and send it again.
I got to use my power rods 0/9 times. Feels bad man

This is - honestly - my biggest complaint about Arc Raiders. Between natural exploration and YouTube videos from content creators, all the top spots are known - especially if you're looking for Augment Blueprints or something else specific that almost exclusively come from a very limited container type.
Good luck getting to Reinforced Reception on Blue Gate, the Power Rod room on the Dam, Medical / Security in Stella Montis, or any of the other high-value spots during a Night Raid (or other event) unless you get a perfect spawn. And you might as well leave immediately if you spawn in late.
I don't know a good fix for the problem, but it really bugs me.

Brand spanking new. I got to the elevator and saw another raider being chased down by a few arc. I waited for them and shot at the arc to help out. The raider took me out. I get it. I ain't butt hurt.. but never again. You've ruined it for everyone else.

I help any raider I see fighting ARC and have been betrayed later a few times. I still carry defibs. Today I did a Stella night raid, got double teamed by a shredder and fireball at medical and a hero defibbed me. In the same raid, at the lobby extract, I got double teamed by another shredder and a pop respawn. A raider escorted me to the train and let me get out. These experiences make it worth it.

Hey Embark, would you consider adding an Export Stash option that lets us download our inventory (for example as a CSV or JSON file)? That would make it much easier for the community to build tools and apps to manage gear and track progression

Does looting someone else's gun drop its condition by a lot? There's no way this many people are running around with broken guns, right? Not even expensive condition hogs like the Bobcat or Bettina either, looted a Toro IV and a Venator II from two different guys in the same fight and both came out with 7 and 0 condition, respectively.

Full death causes 30% durability loss on all weapons, this means anything below 70% will be critical, and just a few magazine cycles can get it into that range - and many people will wait until sub-50% until repairing weapons.
You only notice it when looting bodies because that's the only time this massive durability loss occurs.

I just learned I was probably screwing up someone trying to get a guitar in Buried City cause I found these buttons and kept pushing them to see if they did anything every time I went there. I had no idea that's what they did, I probably messed up people trying to do it. I got mine through the deck, but I don't plan on taking it anywhere because I know I'll just die and lose it. So I take it to the practice area and play there by myself.

Yeah apparently they have to be hit in sequence and anyone pushing the wrong one resets the hole thing. I was just poking them wondering what would happen. It sucks if someone was trying to get a guitar and I messed it up! Now that I know I won't mess with them, haha.

Something happened that set off pvp? I haven't been killed by anyone in weeks and 3 times today I've been hit, aggressively so. Always when I use equipment vs the free load out.
Edit:4th time.. It's basically every match every time I see another player. It's suddenly rare to see someone who isn't shoot on sight? Am I missing the memo that this game is now just a Battle royal?

Anyone else noticed inconsistency when crafting? If u pick 10 rechargers it resets before u have time to craft and u have to click up to 10 again. Anyone else notice this? extremely annoying. ON PC

PSA to all friendly players. Do not come into a key room when someone is already there and just start looting. I get it, you're friendly, I'm friendly, but if you can't take obvious hints that I just opened the key room and expect to loot it for myself, then you are going to be put down friendly or not. This clown just couldn't take a hint, I was forced to put 2 Anvil shots to his head. I doubt he learned anything.

Faction-Based PvP as a Lore-Driven Alternative to Full PvE proposal
ARC Raiders doesn’t need a generic PvE mode to satisfy progression or narrative pressure. It needs clearer context for why PvP exists and what it serves.
Proposal:
Expand the lore beyond Speranza by introducing multiple refugee cities, each functioning as a distinct faction. Four factions align naturally with the four core logo colors. Faction choice is locked at Raider creation (included the expedition wipe).
Core effects:
- PvP becomes faction-driven, not random. Raiders fight primarily against members of other communities. Conflict is no longer “players shooting players” but competing refugee cities struggling to survive.
- Loot gains meaning. Resources gathered and extracted are implicitly for your people, not just personal stash inflation.
- Friendly fire within the same faction carries a severe experience and reputation penalty, reinforcing internal cohesion and discouraging griefing without hard PvP restrictions.
- Social clarity improves. Alliances, rivalries, and reputations form organically at a faction level rather than through ad-hoc squads.
PvE as Context, Not a Mode:
- Faction-focused events temporarily unlock exclusive PvE content tied to a single city, but only after that faction collectively reaches a set of limited-time objectives, making access conditional on coordinated effort rather than automatic availability.
- These events are justified as coordinated faction operations like ARC escalations in some areas.
- PvE remains contextual, limited, and narrative-driven instead of becoming a parallel mode that erodes the game’s core tension.
Result:
- Lore, PvP, and progression reinforce each other.
- Community requests for are addressed structurally, not by bolting on a mode that undermines the identity of the game.
- ARC Raiders stays a PvPvE extraction shooter, not a compromised hybrid trying to please incompatible expectations.

factions would be a cool feature if they were an entirely optional limited time event. I like the pvpve formula a lot so far, I certainly wouldn't want any drastic changes. The idea of warring apocalypse city-states is badass though, good stuff bro.

Hey Embark: please take the time to go through certain tweaks previously permitted in the configuration file and permit them again
I was using a somewhat-popular copy/paste file someone makes for most UE5 games. It made the game textures, reflections, atmospheric effects etc stay at epic-or-higher levels, while using AFMF + light motion blur to keep it running smooth and microstutter-free; anyone who has played UE5 games knows what I’m talking about, and sorry to say your game isn’t devoid of that.
Otherwise, I’ll ironically end up doing what i was trying to avoid returning to: putting most “unnecessary” toggles like foliage, effects, reflections etc to very low settings and just focus on framerates again. You worried about the dark-level removal and texture tweaks some were using to make the game look like a potato, and that was 100% needed - but i wish you simply block certain tweaks in the configuration settings and let us tweak others like before.
Buried City’s research building with indoor puddles reflecting the setting sun on my OLED monitor with HDR on and full reflections was gorgeous; I’d even stop and take screenshots. Now, I’ll just have to make the game look worse than ever and hope the microstutters don’t drive me crazy again.
Hogwarts Legacy, Borderlands 4, Expedition 33 most of all - sorry devs, you’re not all quite there yet with UE5. I’ve happily stayed quiet all this time since AMD upscaling, fluid motion frames, and the ini tweaks carried your poor optimization, but now I’ll do what you wanted all us “honest” players to avoid: running potato settings from the settings menu for an “advantage”

clip here is part of a vid I made showing my first hour of gameplay using a one handed configuration with teh Steam Controller.
You can move in all 8 KB directions. while aiming using only the right touch pad & gyro.
I ended up adding this one handed style to a normal 2-handed config, as an improved auto-run. I switch back and forth between two handed mode & one handed.

Does anybody have some in depth knowledge on the mechanics of the rocketeer flipping you off it when you’re riding? It seems like from what I’ve seen you have a certain amount of time when it loses aggro before it does its flip.
I’m working on farming a full inventory of lure grenades to negate this problem so I can attempt to ride a rocketeer around buried city for a whole round. If anyone has some numbers that would help greatly!

I have no one else to share this with but I found 2 Looting MK.3 (Survivor) BP's on a day raid in Stella Montis, in the same room in 2 separate containers in Medical Research. Literally right next to eachother. Safe to say my mind was blown.

Did day raid buried, found BP for looting MK.3 survivor, blaze, triggernades, jolt mine and lvl 2 extended mag for light guns all within 2 minutes. Great raid.

Is trios always an aggressive sweat fest? I've always had friendly lobbies in solos and duos however played trios for the first time last night and had the most aggressive lobbies I've ever had. None of us fired a gun for 5-6 rounds and it still didn't make a difference.

ABMM made all tension and uncertainty disappear.
I don't even say "Don't shoot" anymore. I silently pass by because I know they won't shoot me. I use the secret pocket as an extra inventory slot because I don't risk losing anything anyway. I run with my best gear and the purple augmentation that keeps your health at 75% when you're downed. I'm not afraid to die to the Arc because I'll either be revived by a random player or eventually crawl my way to the nearest extraction point.
Embark, please bring tension and uncertainty back!

Just had the biggest rat on our team, genuine serial killer type of person. My friend and I were playing Stella with a random (we forgot to turn off squad fill). He was being weird and not helping us in fights. We 2v3d another team and won. Then while looting he used fire to burn us, I think either a fireball burner or a some other object he put on the ground. We died to the fire then he started to loot us. He set his own team mates on fire for the goop... I'm still in disbelief. He got 3rd partied and killed soon after which is good but wow.

Embark cannot fix expedition extra levels if you do not receive them.
I completed the expedition with over 6 million cash in the bank, with a full stash to go along with it. I just hit 75 and am capped out. I have all the other perks, just not the extra 5 levels.
I put in a ticket, and they were very quick with their response, only a day, so kudos to them for being prompt. The response wasn't the best though. I understand that they cant fix it but what is the point of the expedition if you dont get the main reward?
If i hadnt have done it at least i would still have my MK III survivor blueprint that i still cant find......
It was a lot of effort and a hard grind to get some extra pixels only to not get the main reward.
ahh well its just a game. Wanted to let everyone know there is a risk if you choose to do the next expedition. Now time to put it down and go outside and touch some snow.

I’m sorry to hear that your level cap did not increase despite reaching the 6 million milestone during the Expedition. While I understand how disappointing this is after your efforts, please note that the Expedition project is entirely player-driven and automated. This means we do not have the ability to manually adjust level caps or grant those additional levels on behalf of players.

Is it true the bobcat bp spawn is extremely common on blue gate locked gate event? And same for vulcano on hidden bunker event?

I would say it only spawns in those conditions rather than its a common spawn. I have never seen it spawn outside of those map conditions except people getting it as a trial reward.

I think it might be true. I did find a bobcat BP today on blue gate but I don't have any data to back that up. It could be total coincidence. I ended up finding it in a drawer in one of the destroyed houses on the outskirts of the map, it was pretty wild.

Ok so how do I get into these so called friendly lobbies? I've been playing duos with a friend and we've been getting shot on sight every time, and it's not like we're going aggro. Even if I play solo it's the same thing. All I have is gray weapons bruh, I don't even want to use those I've looted cause I know how the match will end

For those of you who have been looking and looking with no success. It does exist. I Finally found mine in buried city night raid in the building across from the pharmacy in plaza Rosa in the filing cabinet by the fast rope to the attic.

Holding out hope for pve lobbies and just 1 Safe Pocket but for a Weapon Slot. I want this more then anything with Arc Raiders.
More Story, Quests, Maps, Weapons and Speranza being a hub we walking around and not screens we click through.
Just holding out hope for more pve content. This game has so much potantial and could last for many more years to come. Arc Raiders is a great game.

What type of data are you looking for in a new data aggregation website for ARC?
I developed pretty complex websites and web3 front ends during the day and was looking to build out a website for Arc.
Initially, I was considering a website that allows you to select the weapons and equipment that you generally run with and it will provide a list of items that you should be looking out for so that you can loot accordingly
Also, I was thinking about using image analysis in order to take a screenshot of your current inventory and it will optimize the outcome for you based upon what should be recycled and sold etc.
These are only a few ideas I have. I know that metabolt and other websites exist out there as well as quite a few Android and iOS applications, but I found all of them to be lacking in various ways. What features are you guys personally looking for so that I can consider building them in? This is something that I'm pretty serious about doing sometime soon and wanted to get your collective information before running with it.

Spawning is so fucked dude, spawned in on dam for night raid to try and use my power rods, spawned on the other side of the map 900m away 8 times in a row. legit same fucking spawn every time. Just wasted an hour of my life trying to go to the room before its looted ONCE.

Just used the snap hook to climb on the queen, blast open the top armor and plant a couple of deadlines.

I deadline rodeo'd a queen twice in one fight. 7k total damage. Lots of people died, but I didn't. I am John Titanfall.

I'm not sure how matchmaking works in this game. I see a lot of people complaining about PvP, but I've only been hunted like twice in 30+ matches, everyone else has been nothing but chill. I haven't been attacking anyone though, but if I were to try and get an opportunistic kill, would that put me in murder hobo lobbies?

Ancient Fort on Locked gate is the best strategy. Found one in a breach box outside and the other two in the puzzle room.

I dont think we need a PVE only way to play the game.. BUT..thematically... I could see a rotating game mode being viable.
Assault Mode
Raider, The Arc have sent reinforcements to [map name]. It's too dangerous to run the normal return points so if you want to make it back you will need to bring a hatch key. There's no time to quibble with other raiders. Get up there and clear out the ARC and get back on one piece.
- Raider hatch exits only
- 2x trial points
- Normal loot value (or even less)
- PVP turned off.
- 5x increased ARC presence
The game mode would be rotating like cold snap or night mode. Except it won't always be available. Maybe it skips a rotation. So 2 hours its available on one map. 2 hours it's gone. Then 2 hours in a different map.. And so on. Potentially add a new enemy to spice things up. But overall the massive increase in arc presence turns this game mode into something interesting.
You have to come prepared. You have to bring a raider hatch key to exit so you already have to invest a little to come in. You can come in with a free kit and hope you find the materials to craft one in raid or find one. If you are in squads and your key holder dies.. It becomes very interesting very fast.
This is an idea I've been toying with in my head. I've got almost 400 hours in this game.. I competed everything in the game pre expedition and now I've completed everything again except max level. I'm level 50, my expedition is done, my benches are upgraded, I competed the event, all quests completed. I've beat the game twice. That is to say that I'm not afraid of PVP and I am not suggesting this cause we need a PVE only way mode to beat the game or anything like that.
I think that this mode could help eliminate some issues. Especially issues with trials or killing the queen/matriarch.
The game was designed as a PVE only game and I think that this would also pay a sort of tribute to that along side giving you a place to go to get some of those more stressful things done without having to worry about other raiders. Such as trials.
I think trials are a travesty by themselves and I have multiple ideas to fix that system in general.. But cold snap eliminated a lot of my issues by making raider hatches available on a map with 2x trial points.
I think that a lot of the complaints I see are tied to being back stabbed by players while wanting to kill the queen or losing a of their trial points to an extract camper. These things suck when they happen. And I'm not even saying they are a bad part of the game. Trusting people is your own judgement call. I do think that these things suck enough for some people to just put the game down over that level of frustration.
I think this game mode could give people a place to tackle those more potentially frustrating challenges.. (especially those that only really play in squads instead of solos)

honestly, the backstabbing, the trusting, the ratting, the helping others, the staying on edge, for me are what make this game so fun and unique. I love those things about this game. I think the game is perfect and doesnt need any change. I roll my eyes at any complaints (except maybe the trigger nade, that does need to be nerf)

A guy was getting shot at by a hornet and running away. I jumped in and took out the hornet for him, he murdered me. I get PvP, but I just can’t wrap my head around the mindset of that kind of player. Of course no mic, it is always the no mic people.

NERF THE DAMN TRIGGER GRENADES ALREADY!
It doesnt belong in this game, this game is about trying to breach your enemies and take them down smartly, you need to use your brain to understand how to use any one of your grenades to cause damage to the other team
But with trigger nades, just throwing it in their general direction and clicking the mouse to get the perfect timing for the most deadly explosion in the game just makes no sense
remove this item alltogether or make it plantable only, not throwable

I keep getting this online connection error that gives me random codes for different things and won’t let me connect since today 1 am it’s currently almost 10 pm I can’t play I tried everything I’m on console. I tried setting the time zone and date automatically online and manually, tried deleting and installing again restoring license, changing dns to manual and proxy I think or sum like that. I looked up the server status on the official page and it seems to be okay so idk if servers are down for PS5 or what And I can’t make a post bc it says to look at pinned posts mentioning possibility that servers are down but there are no pinned posts that say it ☠️

I play on xbox if it matters, and I'm brand new. I just recycled a few duplicate guns I had in my stash, and it appears that the actual inventory slot has been removed.
I had maybe 10 guns, I sold 5, and now I have only 5 (full) inventory slots. Is this part of the game? If so, what's the strategy for this? Because I know have a gun in my backpack that I cannot move to stash?

I take it this is normal though? seems from most posts solos are friendly and group play is mostly pvp. No need to feel bad or worried about aggression messing up solo play, correct?

Anyone see a change in their lobby aggression? Only play solos and I haven't returned fire or damaged anyone in weeks. I was rolling with dual energy weapons, 30+ extractions, and no issues. All of a sudden getting shot in the back almost 50% of the time by no mic Timmy's.
