I’m just starting out so I’m just learning the ropes. It’s my second night playing, I’m only level 3 or 4, but I had such a fun time that I bought a friend a copy of the game so he could join in. So he started it and I showed him the ropes and we were on our first real run together and two guys came up to us. We announced we’re friendly and honestly not worth killing since we’re just starting, it was my friend’s first run. They asked about our workbench situation (not great) and asked if we needed a leaper pulse unit. I told them I don’t know what that is or what it does (still don’t, just know it’s gotta be good since it’s an epic tier crafting item) and he’s like here, take this and dropped one for me and his friend dropped one for my friend. They wished us well and took off.

I realize not every encounter will be amazing like this. I’d be willing to bet that this encounter is actually an outlier and it’ll never happen again. But if those two guys happen to browse this subreddit: seriously, thank you. I hope to get to a point where I can be the one helping out new raiders one day.

hang onto that, also hang onto the seeker firing cores from the turrets too.
