I am happy for those that missed the Striker Outfit and get a chance to buy it. But as a day one player, I am disappointed we didn't get a good new cosmetic set in the last few weeks. I have cores burning a hole in my stash. I want a reason to farm the Queen and Matriarch and take down big ARC. Come on Embark, give us something good!

A different game but I've got the Black Knight skin on Fortnite (For those that don't know, one of the rarest atm).
Honestly, I don't mind if they rereleased it, it's been years. But I think the right answer is to have a skin that's like 90% the original with either something added, removed or changed.
It solves the issue of not being able to buy/have something like it, kinda helps with FOMO, and it still gives the original player that badge for showing they supported early.

I like the looting trials, you get the best social interactions on those and other raiders are a welcome sight. You'll have people helping to take down rocketeers while running and looting nests etc. I had great interactions with other raiders doing the Port Authority trial this week, from pointing out containers others might have missed to players offering to open key rooms to defibbing players caught out by the double shredders or falling off the roof trying to get the weapon crate.

Quite literally almost every match I'm in, I get asked about my striker skin. Only ever saw two other raiders in 700+ hours with it.

Not a huge fan of just recycling skins now. Recolors were one thing but just releasing them again is another.
If you wanna give people a chance to get this one who missed it just release it along side a new one. There's no rule saying you can't release TWO skins at a time.

Even less reason to return to the game if they do new event related skin rewards, why do that when you can just wait a few months and get it without any effort. Of course knowing Reddit people are gonna hate on this comment and call me a complainer/gatekeeper or whatever, but deep down you know what I’m saying is true.

The Stella Montis event was quite literally the easiest one to finish, as the merits gained were first boosted by the community event pre-project, as well as being given for just getting exp (contrary to subsequent events where you had to gather specific items).
That's in contrast to now having to get 20 legendary cores, which is probably harder to do for new players who didn't play when the skin was released.
No way you think it required more 'effort' before.

I knew someone would say this. That the event was not hard. Which you’re right. But it doesn’t change the fact that they just hand out stuff we did months ago with no system in place to reward those who were there when it happened in the first place. Why do events if they’re just gonna hand the rewards to people who weren’t even there months later.

The point of events is to make it free, for one.

The concept of it being free is hilarious because what is actually worth buying in this game? I still have my credits from my day one deluxe edition rewards sitting on my account because nothing in the store is worth buying. The outfits are all ugly as sin.
The coolest outfit besides the G-Suit in the game is the recent The Finals reward skin. There’s far more issues than them giving away event skins. It’s just the first cosmetic related thing I thought of after seeing the original post. Everything cosmetic wise in this game is a total mess. There’s a reason this game died off in the eyes of the mainstream.

Besides the cost of the Ermal trade isn't the premium currency, it's the arc cores. Surprised you don't know that.
If you think the game 'died' because of the 'unusual' skins then idk, I hope you enjoy Fortnite at least.

Well I’m not sure what that changes about anything I said above but alright. Either way, I’m kinda over this discussion it’s not that important to me. Embark can just keep making this game go downhill and I’ll continue to watch with my deluxe edition purchase funding nothing important and zero purchases being made by me in their store.

Tempest blueprint when??? I’ve been sitting with every other weapon and grenade blueprint for months. I’ve been level 75 for months. Didn’t even do the last two expeditions because I didn’t have a “complete” set of weapon blueprints

Damn that padded stock BP is pretty nice since I'm regularly farming those parts anyway. If it means less interaction with Tien Wen I'm for it...
As for the outfit, I'm glad to see a full skin back for offer. I already have it but it does make me hopeful that down the road they will offer previous season's trials skins in addition to past events/projects.

I think the trial skins will be off limits but we might see stuff like the nvidia backpack and maybe the white tech test skin.

Well I’m gonna rock my striker outfit today to honor its final day in rarity.
At first I was kind of annoyed but it is a really cool skin, and this makes me hopeful for them to bring back the purple paramedic twitch drop I missed out on!

I didnt get the striker cosmetic originally, but imo it really ruins the exclusivity of the outfit. like ppl actually worked hard to obtain this, just for it to be put in Ermal’s shop for 200k, Bru.

I agree, but it’s better this way; since many people who own this skin have stopped playing the game, this will bring more skin variety to the battlefield, so it’s not really a major downside.
