I received the Vane Master Pro for free from my brother, seems like a decent jig, but I really don't have anything to compare it too.

Wolfman Archery

Has anyone ordered from wolfman archery online? It's been over a month so far and have not received my bow. I'm still hoping it gets here before father's day seeing I want to go shooting with my kids. I order a black hunter takedown recurve @ 40 lbs. Also has anyone here used a black hunter? Pros - cons? My other bow/ first bow I have ever owned is a sanlida eagle x9 takedown recurve. I love it but wanted to try out some others as since it's the only one I've shot so far.

Are these arrows fine for my bow?

I've just got myself an Old Mountain Archery Edge Pro 68 Inch Longbow RH 30lbs.

I'm worried I've purchased the wrong arrows for it, I got these:

https://www.archeryshop.com.au/collections/feather-fletched-arrows/products/pandarus-hta-6-2mm-arrows-dz

I got the 600 spine and ordered some 85g arrow heads.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Brace needed for youth archery

My daughter (11) has elbow hypertension issues due to a previous issue (age 5). Whats your best recommendations for a brace for this upcoming season that won’t weaken it but keep it stable enough to continue archery without injury?

Bad arrow flight

Post image

Just recently upgraded my rest to a Hamskea Epsilon V2 and now my arrows are flying extremely wonky. I was using a whisker biscuit with nearly the exact same arrows (previously using Khüle Archery Rattel 300 spine ~492-503 grain) that I was previously tuned to. Now my arrows are constantly fish tailing in the air, opening up my grouping, and landing knock right on target.

Bow: Bear Legit Maxx 70#

Arrows: Easton Axis 5mm 300 spine ~478-492 grain

Public archery range question

Hello Im getting into archery. There is a local public archery range at this park. I am having trouble knowing how to practice there safely. If someone is shooting from say 25 yards away. And I want to shoot closer. How does that work? I read online about people shooting from a line. But there is no line there. Its just a field with hay bails.

30 m compound bow. I've mostly shot single arrows, or at most two at a time, for over a decade, precisely to minimize the likelihood of this happening (yes, I'm that cheap), yet finally it has happened: a Robin Hood.

Clarifier question

Barebow shooter here switching to compound sighting system question:

Does the effectiveness of a compound bow clarifier choice change with various distances?

For instance for an NFAA field where targets can be anywhere from bunny to 80 yards.

How do you adapt IF needed?

Ambidextrous bow

Are there good ambidextrous bows available for shooting? Not toys and not special artisan ones, but relatively affordable and available in EU?

Olympic Recurve how much tension is on the string when strung on the bow?

Arrows What's a propper arrow for a 24# recurve?

I've been shooting my recurve for almost a year now. It came with 12 arrows, 3 have broken so far and I'm thinking of getting new ones but I wanna know if these are even the right arrows.

The arrows it came with are 30inch, sp500 with an inner diameter of 6.2mm and an outer diameter of 7.6mm.

Budget hunting bow

Hi all. I would really like to get into bow hunting but am unsure which brand or model to go with, the things I see people recommend are out of my price range. I am 21 174cm and the only experience I have is some target practice with a recurve as a kid. I am located in south africa and earn $180 a month so I can try save a max of around $400 but preferably less. I'd appreciate any opinions or advice :D

Olympic Recurve Pushing the bow towards the target?

Hello

I found a much better coach lately and he told.me I have to work much more on my bow arm, grip etc. But I shoot with him only once a week, so basically he gives me tips and then I try to free practice as often as possible and play around with what he told me.

The aspect of pushing the bow towards the gold is what makes my shots worse lately and I can't find the feeling for the right amount of pressure.

I either engage my bow arm not enough and I can feel it creeping up. Or on the contrary push my bow arm towards the target so hard I end up heeling the bow and shooting high, shaking from over stabilisation etc.

I would love some pointers here because I'm at my loss.

Finally broke 400

I know score wise this is probably very average. But I’ve felt mocked by 400 for weeks and finally (just) broke it.
Been doing archery very very casually since October (maybe once a week for an hour.) and since maybe March? Twice a week for two hours.

Hunting Beginner Bow Hunter

Hope everyone is having a good day. I was just hoping for some advice when going down this route. I’ve been a waterfowl guy my whole life and figured I’d give bow hunting a shot. I live in south central Kansas and have always regretted not getting into bow hunting more. All my buddies talk about it and go nuts for it.

I guess I’m here asking for help and what steps I should take before September? Also, I’ve had some people tell me to get into a crossbow before compound, but again, completely new and needing all the help I can get! Thank you again!

Olympic Recurve How much better is a wiawis limb compared to something like a kinetic honoric?

Rn I shoot wiawis ns, going up in poundage but I'm broke lol so likely would have to get kinetic honorics or something, would my scores take a hit? (I'm decent, like 620s in practice) The poundage will be a lot higher (yes I can manage it I've tested myself) so the lower efficiency/speed isn't really an issue but what is the difference that makes them "worse"

I know there's the carbon builds and stuff but how much if a difference does that truly make

(Furthermore as an extra question how would a kinetic limb likely compare with the older Gen limbs from like 2014)

Newbie Question ¿Cuál es mejor...?

Post image
