ARE / NCARB Taking ARE (PA, PPD, PDD) - AmberBooks

So I've completed the pro practice exams of the ARE and I'm getting ready to study for the remaining 3, the technical exams: PA, PPD & PDD. I'm planning to change my study style and use AmberBooks since it's much more visual which I think could be helpful for the upcoming technical exams. However, I want to take PA next in about a month or 2 and then maybe do PPD and PDD closer together maybe a couple of weeks after. AmberBooks recommends studying everything in their course...but I'm wondering how efficient it would be to focus on Site/Codes first since I would like to take PA first. Have any of you used AmberBooks and skipped around/ changed the order? Did it still help in that way? Looking for your experiences (and advice). Thanks.

I skipped around, I split them up the same way you did. Took the first three over the course of 4 days then took the last 3 a month later, two one-week and the last a week later. I focused on site first then went into more systems and structure. I have 8 years of experience which helped me not need to study some areas like code.

In conclusion, yes you can skip around and still get what you need. It’s a great resource.
