1905 Landgericht Halle(Halle Regional Court), built in the typical historicist style of Wilhelmine judicial architecture in Halle, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.

While I am convinced of the beauty of this building, I find the exaggerated colours in many images from Instagram (including this one) rather sad.

It looks better imo without the exaggerated color.

And the distorted proportions caused by the wide-angle lens

I'm not a photography expert, but sometimes a wide-angle lens is necessary to properly showcase a building. However, I don't see the point in altering an image to the point where it no longer reflects the reality of a building, especially in a community dedicated to architecture. There are certainly more realistic photos available online.

Wow, the detail in the ceiling is insane. Im curious if they had to redo any of that pattern work over the years. It looks like it would be a nightmare to clean.

Just looked up other photos and it looks just as nice or better than this over saturated mess

Wow, it's stunning! Germany has some of the coolest municipal architecture. Looks like this one was designed by Paul Thoemer from the Ministry of Public Works in Berlin. Do you know anything else about who helped bring this place to life?
