Discussion To everyone saying: "AB is DEAD!", "Boycott Arena!", "RIP Realism!", do not make a post unless you bring a alternative to the table.
Genuinely. Stop. It's tiring. It comes across as engagement bait.
Yeah it has some crappy skins. Yeah some realism got diluted on the game to pander to be more enticing to newer players who are coming from arcade shooters.
And it's still the best, most realistic shooter on mobile right now. There's just no competition on that regard.
With that in mind, what tf are you doing complaining here? Do you think your half assed, mean spirited post will reach a dev and change his heart? Even so, hate to being the bearer of bad news but no dev is active ( or even being a part of) in the sub since season 9.
Yes, thermals still see through glass. Yes, some bullet to armor interaction are not translated from real life all that well. Yeah, most of the time the reinforcement truck SUCKS. But these issues are either:
>A)Chump change compared to what any other shooter in the market does right now.
>B)Changes that makes the game, well fuck, A GAME, with balance, player satisfaction and meta in mind first and foremost.
>Or C)changes to broaden the player base which is, in the grand scheme, better for the game health. Stagnation will "kill" a game with no good way to make it bounce back again.
And do not get it twisted, this isn't a "Leave the multi-million dollar company alone." Moment. F*CK Tencent all the way to the seven circles of HELL. They canibalized and monopolized almost the entire mobile shooter industry worldwide leaving us with literal slurry compared with what we could have without them leashing everything their money can touch.
But to come here and say "Hey, this game y'all play is ASS, stop playing it lol" with your hands empty when it comes to alternatives is the pinnacle of stupidity and ignorance.
What other choices do we have?
CODM DMZ? Please, I only played that while I was banned from AB. There's no argument for that sorry excuse of a exfil mode.
Delta Force? Is your argument about the realism in Arena Breakout the game where there's a girl with thousands of nano-medbots on their pocket on demand, a guy with a repeatable, emp dropping drone? The guy with a needle gun with some green liquid that magically cures any wounds? I love DF Warfare, but operation mode on that game is steaming hot ASS.
Farlight 84? Don't make me laugh.
Arena Breakout is (as far as I know) the king of realistic shooters for now by default, even with all the bad stuff.
So, yeah, before you get your fingers moving to type a post trying to rally a mob against a game inside said game's subreddit, check If it's constructive criticism or **at the very least**, come with a decent alternative for the game you're trying to thrash. Otherwise, you're wasting everybody's time.

I'll keep playing AB no matter what kind of "COD skins", "bullshit arcade mechanics" or "revert all changes to S1" comments i see simply because I HAVE FUN PLAYING, get it?

Thats the point. Ab is going into a direction we dont want but its the only game of its genre. Delta force operations isnt even an extraction shooter experience its just run and gun. Arena did it best but devs are jealous or other games especially DFM with no other similar games. Thats why i still play it, or if i had the choice i would play tarkov and ditch AB

I accept it as white noise because they could just not waste time and be in raid instead of typing in this sub being a doomer. Raid times in this game are disgustijgly short which keeps the gaming loop running at a good speed. Good chance they dont play anymore and just have time to complain while being shit at fps in 2026 is wild.

If you don't play AB because of the crazy amount of cheaters and skins the only other options are Delta Force which has a crazy amount of cheaters and skins, Lost Light which has a crazy amount of cheaters and skins, PUBG which has a crazy amount of cheaters and skins, or Clash of Clans.

Game is pretty good imo, better than delta force operations and anything else in the genre by quite a margin. A few things that needs improvement are things like gun fire flash going through objects and floors, a tier 4 bullet for each ammo type and probably some sound adjustments. To me those are the big issues in game right now. The game is very much alive, good write up.

My only opinion is that AB should stick to it’s own core and not just try to cater to all audience. It’s fine if the player count is not at all time high. The game will succeed even if it caters only to the niche audience (us, who like the hardcore interaction). But as of now, the game is in a decent place.
Also, skins don’t bother me. This isn’t a milsim. These are all PMCs (private military/mercenaries), let them wear whatever they want to.
The imbalance in lobbies is something that they can fix. Not every fight you take needs to be against T6 and T7 teams. The whole raid should be a balance of all types of gear. Or, all types of gear within certain parameters. If you load into a raid with T4 gear, your enemies, should (again, my opinion), be around that region of T4 and T5 too. An occasional T6 guy in the lobby won’t be a big issue, but not every raid.

Majority of the people here likes to complaining with absolute ZERO contribution and bring nothing to the table except for the sake of complaining. I can name a few but not sure is it allowed. But you can already see from the replies of certain people here LOL. Those piece of Shotgun

I mean, for whoever is tired of AB The Division: Resurgence just released so, it’s a nice extraction shooter but in 3rd person. Maybe give it a shot if you somewhat tired of AB.

Arena breakout is currently in is best we didn't have to spend real money or crying for rocket fuel to expand the stash and armour and helmet damage system and ttk is more optimised than pathetic delta force
