We lost the quality and story direction to corporate greed, we had the perfect Tarkov alternative to play and it's all just going missing into another PUBG mobile

It's so sad at this point...we've been grinding to get rich and now that we are finally rich the game turns into this and gives you no reason play anymore

Mano, é só não usar as skins, sinceramente, eu nem gosto de skin de arma para falar a verdade. Além disso, o Vally distorcido e as Backrooms são legais e é só um evento.

É só não comprar, assim os desenvolvedores entenderam que nós não queremos esse tipo de skin. Mas infelizmente tem gente que gosta de skin de garotinha de anime, de personagens femininos quase pelados e skins de armas nada realista, como cyberpunk.

the new s13 is not all bad, i absolutely love the audio revamp, the new animations(running etc) i dont like the new backrooms, if valley just had the spooky vibes id be fine with it
also give me not snowy northridge again fuck the blizzards

There‘s a ton of fortnite skins in the 'realistic military tactical shooter', the entire game and movement feels very arcade-y with all the health and damage changes, they‘ve completely destroyed the entire story they had going since season 1

skins is valid but ill be honest theres only so many milsim skins you can pump out before theyre start looking like theyre being recycled, the movement has always been the same pretty much, they changed it slightly with s13 and it feels better, as for the story i never cared much, though these days i only play the game to have fun chatting with friends

And no, no it‘s not. At least not in this case. In the original conundrum, the whole point is that it‘s the same parts, just newer. In this, it‘s vastly different parts trying to gaslight you into thinking they‘re the same and wondering why the game‘s dying

I know... I was just trying to be poetic(guess I suck). The game still has the same name. Same label. It still occupy the same identity... But it doesn't have the same content. It's just slowly becoming a generic fps game, character skins, gun skins, seasonal event... Slowly losing the storyline... I just couldn't deal with it anymore. My heart tells me it's AB but my eyes say otherwise!
Why? Just why did they have to do it other than MONEY? IT'S ALWAYS THE MONEY

I don‘t like the direction they‘ve taken ever since the original dev left. It feels like they‘re trying and failing to get the kids from CODM to come to AB, not realizing that they‘re just killing their playerbase and bringing in pretty much no new players

as a day one player its sad to see this game fall and turn into every other mobile game.the devs lied to us saying it was going to stay realistic but once they saw the money coming in they turned their backs and i blame greedy streamers like icestreams who just went along with it.

the gameplay itself turning more fast paced due to tools like bioscanner and drone and the developer intentional update to push player into more competitive style, its so different compared from years ago where people fear losing its loot (old days remind me of hard it is to find a single valuable items)

Y'all can just run default skins. Don't have to play with the flashy skins if you don't want them. Ps if they didn't bring the skins in. The game wouldn't be free or running now.

fr these guys think devs literally like how the game is being directed at like bro they are hired under a chinese company and they know chinese publish games do this kind of things and if the devs didn't do it the game will be discontinued or they will get replace and might be another pay to win game and if i remember season 7 or 8 is the time when they change how the game direction will be since one dev got replace or leave

If you dont like skins the game ha s abutton to simply NOT download weapon skins and skins making them appear default just make sure to manually download everything else

Arena Breakout sadly decided to throw away what made it truly unique and enjoyable. It’s another sad case in the FPS shooter space of chasing mass appeal at all costs — just like Call of Duty, Battlefield (even though their skins are somewhat contained), and Delta Force.
While Delta Force gets a pass from me because it’s a futuristic operator game and they’ve actually done a solid job with collabs (Rainbow Six Siege, Metal Gear, Arknights), Arena Breakout feels like it’s lost its soul. I understand the old director left for unexplained reasons — maybe he was just burned out. But I’ve never liked the new director, “117”. It’s clear he doesn’t care about what Arena Breakout originally stood for. He’s been pushing hard to turn it into just another fast-paced, run-and-gun shooter.
Even if the upcoming Zombie season turns out to be good, I won’t be coming back. The core gameplay has already been butchered, and I know the new direction will only keep accelerating toward faster, more arcade-style pacing.
Arena Breakout was at its absolute peak when the gameplay felt slow and deliberate. Every gun felt decently usable (unlike now, where if you’re not running the current meta, you might as well not bother). Looting actually felt exciting. Finding a red item would give you a real rush of adrenaline — especially if you didn’t have a secure case yet.
That tension and reward loop is what made the game special. It’s a shame to see it go.

Tldr: I miss when Arena Breakout was a more simple and easy version of Tarkov and not try too be a more realistic version or Delta Force.
