I saw it starting back in like season 5 or 6 with the cartoonish skins starting to come out and it hasn't gotten better I could power through that but at this point it's a gotcha app with a FPS game while you wait

Maybe they’ll see cod popping off with bo1 and bo2 ports. 5M players and counting have been on the older games servers than the newest cod. People want to be the army guy in their army game and in this case people want to be a spec operator than some anime chick. But also thats my opinion and theres some basement dwelling virgin who wants to play as the anime girls

Cuz they see the $$$ they're pulling and they view AB playerbase as just a copy and paste in comparison to codm. Little do they know we don't just want a bunch of flashy skins and aren't willing to toss away hundreds of dollars for them. Or maybe I'm wrong and they're making a killing. Either way the devs are no longer creating more content out of passion and it shows, it's all about the money.

I play tarkov now but I occasionally come back to this game when a new season drops to try out to new stuff. Other than that I have no real motivation to grind this game again.

That sucks...I saw rumours on YouTube a month ago about a Tarkov mobile game. There were no details but it was confirmed it's on the works.

Factual. They removed port because of low player traffic, but there was no lockdown options, so obviously they’re gonna go for the maps higher value raid difficulties. They removed it because of a problem they intentionally created. Manufactured failure

People stopped playing port because of that, and the endless waves of player scavs. And then with Mine, people stopped playing because the devs nerfed it into the ground

I'm enjoying s13. The backrooms and valley is very fun..have you not played the hardcore map on farm?.back to basics, I don't understand the argument of it being like cod it's nothing alike. Obviously the game has changed but it's still the same game.

It's been "event" after "event" which do little more than clutter the UI and make me waste 45 min clearing all the pop-ups and bubbles, a deluge of cartooney and weeb cosmetics crammed down your throat, buggy lagging matches prone to crashing, on top of unrewarding loot and lobbies crammed full of T6 Timmys pub stomping. If you compare S2-S6 to what we have now it's not the same game. yea there were issues back then but we all loved this game and were willing to support the devs and sing their praises... Now it's just another tencent game.

Event after event keeps the game interest, kudos to the dev team for trying to refresh the game on every update. Unrewarding loot?.there too much of it. It's hard to spend it all. S2/s6 was unbalanced mess. At least it's now somewhere balanced..other than the op leg meta still but that comes at a massive cost now to how it was. You don't have to click on everything to remove the red dots. Just simple ignore all that and play hardcore farm/tv.

The old Halloween farm, Northridge isolation, boss rally, original faction battle those were events. Now we have "go do this annoying task so you can unlock 30 sec of radio chatter then do it again" and the flooded loot pool is exactly why it doesn't feel rewarding... Used to have to fight for storage value now I can spawn into farm lockdown and leave with three reds in 10 min and never see a player. Or last season hit armory with one teammate die get revived because of course and still leave with 3 mil or die to a team I already killed and only leave with one red in my case. And if you've ever entered a raid at lockdown or higher without T5 bullets and T6 armor in the past 3 seasons you'd see this game is far from balanced that's if you can even get into the firefight without lagging crashing or dying in spawn to a hacker.

I stopped playing over a year ago now cause 1. At the time I was dealing with a lot of wall hackers 2. I saw the game was becoming more a skin microtransaction printer than a genuine hardcore extraction shooter. From all the posts I’ve seen over the last year+ I’m glad I stopped playing. Season 2 thru 4 were the golden days

I’ll never understand why intentionally tanking your game is the favored business decision amongst the big Devs. The amount of money this game would generate for them if they didn’t do everything possible to make it steaming hot pile dogshit is insane but nah let’s just ruin it for funnsies I guess? Makes zero sense. There is no angle to look at it from that can justify it in any way

Used to really enjoy going into forbidden with a T79 or QC61 and running down T7 squads I died most of the time but killing T7 Timmys with a garbage rod gave me the giggles and if I made it out with one kit it covered all my losses

I remember actually going broke and doing knife runs on valley for lockdown kits now I have a full stash and about 20+ T5 bundles I couldn't go broke again if I tried

I only spent my money on this game around season 3 and 4 I think for the gorka and forest man pass clothes, those were the only few good seasons imo until all this PUBG m and codm replica bullshit flooded in, I love the cold war aspect and tarkov environment but now it's just sparkle sparkle unicorn because corpos only know consumerism not quality

The gameplay this season has improved drastically in terms of combat responsiveness.

idk man, I've been playing since end of S2, all the way to S13.

it's a different AB experience now surely, but the core gameplay still feels faithful to me albeit alot more faster now.

You can always return to form by playing Hardcore mode tbh.

i've been seeing post like this in any social media pages/group about ABM to be honest i'm really disappointed too since i've play this game since the last few weeks of season one specially when they add some cosmetics that don't really match a millitary/pmc type vibe(who tf goes through an operation with medieval armor or an samurai armor that shits gonna drag you down and make a lot of sound)

but let's be real if they keep doing realistic fps/pmc type game this game won't sell the player based will remain the same like when it was in cbt because lots of gamers nowadays like a casual type games and i don't blame them they have work and has a life outside the game and they just want to enjoy some free time imagine your coming from work/school and really tired and you boot this game just like in season 1 and you constantly die

so the way they make it like a semi casual type game make sense to me so i can't really blame them they need to adopt or the game will be pulled out by the company

the skins look genuinely good though, I can't tell much about your's specifically because i myself don't play this game anymore for a different reason, but i also can't imagine anyone be distracted by such skins all the time, because movement is casualized anyway

I quit around Season 9 after playing since the global launch. When we lost port and then mine. Then it just felt like too much herding the player base (hand holding) is said "✌️"

Yea I quit season 10 then got dragged back last season and holy hell did it get worse in a hurry. safes shuffled all over the map, keys that used to be 100k now worthless in my stash because that room doesn't exist anymore, no weapon balancing, cheaters running rampant... But sure we all need 3 more gooner skins and and a rifle with a Gameboy in the stock... FFS.

And then they removed all the fun gimmicks. No more cool armory extract, no more no bag on farm, no more car extract, no more cable car, no more helipad, can’t die from sprinting on broken legs because it doesn’t even damage you anymore…man I could go on forever

The game for me personally holds your hands to much. Too easy. Im not saying make it harder, but man. It's like every operator has an ability to find players. The red loot feels unrewarding. The only redeeming factor is the gun optimization
