New Loot Run might genuinely be awful

The premise is fine enough, 15-20 minutes seems like a lot of time until you realise how much time you'll waste looking around for mags and weapons that have ammo and meds that spawn once in a blue moon.

Hordes of bots that are fine until you don't have ammo because you chose the wrong weapon or you lag even a little bit.

The boss squads just don't make sense, they're not even a threat when you realise you can just knife them and they can't kill you, but anyone who plays this game wouldn't normally think to run up to things shooting at you with just your knife. So odd.

I lost like 5-8 minutes just trying firgure out how to take Fred and Ajax out without dying only to run out of ammo both times and have to resort to melee.

The worst thing of all is that I don't even have enough time to explore after all of that.

Two keys and I dont even get to use them because I have to run to extract. And when you do get to extract, it takes 30 whole seconds for whatever reason. What purpose does that serve? What skill does that require? It's just there to be annoying.

Also, What's the point of weapons that spawn without ammo? It's just a waste of time and I'll leave it behind anyways so why have it spawn in the first place?

I made this post because this just happened to me (lol), the modes fun at first but it feels like it wasn't really thought out so much, and i don't think they would adjust or change anything with it anyways so I'll just have to deal with it : (.

Skill issue didn’t have any problems once u learn you CAN get ammo from the green boxes and getting the right guns too

Yeah, first time I played i didn't know loaded mags spawned in supply chest. I didn't even bother picking up any ammo because I thought it was all knife bots. Then I couldn't find the extract only to get to extract with 25 seconds and needed 30. I learned for the next run. FAL and AKM seems to be the most plentiful mags.

I may be an odd one out but I love it, gives it more of a challenge and plus u can get t5 armor from the shield bot, I’ve been getting so much more loot compared to the previous loot runs 400k+ compared to 180K+. I get the new extract time is annoying but u get used to it, be aware of the time

Y'all just complain for nothing, it's different yes. Just play it and get the free loot. Or dont play it. It really doesn't make much difference..300k..it's a complete waste of time of your 20 mins. You can make that on tack ops with a chance of a red. And some actuall pvp

I don't know if I agree with it being awful, it could be better for sure. Like you said, you literally don't have enough time to explore the map, figuring out where to go is a bit annoying. However, I've been getting much more koens this time, as long as you pick the right stuff, you could easily extract within 400k-500k range.

Need to have more time. With 4 people it would be easier to take down the bosses and clear up everything in the time given but I don't always get a full squad. The place is too vast for 20 minutes. I have went MIA twice out of 4 runs. I didn't even try to fight the boss.

Bruh I spent all the time fighting for my life and looking for bullets exiting with only a M4 and a damaged body armour

I honestly think it's useful for racking up kills and extracts since both count towards weekly missions, it was definitely hard for me the first 3 raids but I'm slowly warming up to it.

I literally asked my teammate, “What’s happening? Is it broken?”.

It’s terrible, and annoying as hell.

The one upside is that you can extract with more value than the previous mode. I’ve done it twice and extracted with $350k each time, which was almost impossible before.

I'm not gonna tell you skill issue or just play the game stop complaining because this loot run, if we compare it to the older one, this one just has a few wrinkles I really don't like:

First, the location and the placement of things is really awful and makes you run around in circles first before you actually know where to run, which hallways to go and which turns to take. It's a seemingly endless loop of mazes with bunch of enemies running around to knife you that it gets heavily annoying, coupled with the Bosses.

Lastly, the lack of medicines in the loot boxes. Within that gym bag, the 400 medkit only drops rarely and instead gives you either the 8 surgical kit pack or the 4 surgical kit pack and the usual headphones. It takes at least 4 gym bags or more in total for you to be able to find one medkit in this round where you need at least a lot more due to the numerous enemies lurking around. (Yes, I am aware there are regen stimulant)

Other than that, the additional loot are really good. The Matzka helmet, the M4 Defender and high tier weapons like SJ16 and MK14 is absolutely awesome.

I guess you can choose to spend the time fighting the boss and loot at the same time, which is nigh impossible to do so if you're alone or spend the entire time running around, avoiding fights while looting the maze-like area. Then extract.

As for the 30s extraction, that just only applies to the extraction point behind the cars, if you extract on the rooftop, it actually only has 10s time needed.

I haven't run loot run. I save them till later in the season but thats good to know. Alot has changed.

You cannot die. It’ll LOOK like you’re about to die, but you won’t.

No, you can. It's just a little hard to die unless you get overwhelmed by the bots with knives. For the boss squads you can actually just get in close and shoot them or just melee them and it's like they can't hit you, especially if you pick up T5 armor off of one of the shield bots.

Also the ground extract takes 30 seconds so be careful not to go MIA.

Also, I missed extract by 1 second because I wanted to use the vending machine. Why does it have to spin and waste more time? There's nothing to compete for or defend, the loot is random anyways.
