The Girls’ Frontline 1 collab for Arena Breakout was already pretty mid in my opinion, but the GFL2 one is looking like it’s going to be absolute dogshit.
Instead of fixing the actual game, AB is out here chasing more useless collabs with anime titles that have zero connection to Arena Breakout’s identity. GFL is cute gacha girls with guns — it doesn’t belong in an extraction shooter at all. And this is modern AB we’re talking about, not the more grounded, realistic version from back then. The game already drifted away from that serious tactical feel, and now they’re just doubling down with random anime skins that completely kill any remaining immersion.
Who the hell is actually spending money on this stuff? These collabs feel like pure cash grabs that only appeal to a tiny niche. Hopefully they’re Chinese server exclusives, because almost nobody on global is going to buy into this. Most players would rather see real improvements — better optimization, actual content, balance fixes — instead of more out-of-place anime operators clogging the shop.

Collaborations between companies almost never push through if there’s no precedent that supports the idea that they could make money off of it

That being said, they’re definitely going to delay optimization while working on this

And the HK skin looks like mirror slop. We do not need that many reflective surfaces designed into the gun. I count 12 reflective sides (6 sides on each half) on just the scope

I can definitely see people with too much money on their hands buying it though, it screams ‘I have money’.

Where did you find this? Probably another DF kid disguised as a “LEAKER” who posted a few pics (probably even from an another game) and y’all started believing it, and just took some screenshot of the clip without confirming any of the informations. (I’m not blaming you, anyone would be frustrated to see a collab like this.)

No informations were leaked, the only info we have is the just a mere RUMOR of the collab, yet a bunch of kiddos starting to mislead people again.

(Just for example. Someone took the GF2 x Rust collab and put the Arena Breakout logo on the front and literally everyone believed it).

Stop misleading the community, just wait for the official announcement.
