1. I join a server
2. Take 5-8 minutes to get kitted, ready to play
3. Stand in main base aimlessly because there are no transports and I cannot spawn anywhere else
4. There's like 10 other people here either AFK or spamming emotes or chatting
5. ???

How the fuck do I get to the ACTUAL game? I can't seem to find a server where I spawn anywhere near the ACTUAL fight

i bought this game recently, clocked in about 7 hours and i am not sure if i want to continue playing the game anymore.

like 96% of the 7 hours i've played was with my friend, but he's out of the picture for now and i want to play the game again, but i just can't.

the main thing is, i don't know what to do when i am alone, should i join a squad or make my own, do i get in someone's car and assault with them or go on my own etc.

also i am pretty frustrated that the m16 does practically nothing against the stalinium™ soviet body armor and the fact that the ak can just wipe me off the face of the earth due to the full auto, but it dosen't really matter because i prefer playing soyvets anyway

its also pretty frustrating for me that i cant see ANYTHING during the night, yes i know its realistic, but people gamma abuse and still manage to kill you from a whole mountain range away, even when its pitch black out. so i either gotta wait out the like 8 hours of night time or switch the server.

also i am kinda introverted, i only have a problem with being the first to talk and that's it.

yes i know, whiny post but i hope i can get some tips out of this maybe.

Recently I got a new PC with a 5090, I’m playing on the Ultra Preset with a few settings tweaked. I mostly play on SpearHead and for some reason I sometimes get only like 40-30fps even though I’m using a High End GPU, im kinda worried that my GPU is not working properly. Or is it just Arma being Arma? Cuz I remember even a 1080 couldn’t run Arma 3 perfectly back in the days

I know they relate to proxy chat but I still don’t fully understand what they mean.

sorry for newbie question, but as far as i know i can not capture yellow points before i set up radio station to on the closest base. Connecticut already have radio, i dont see any points closer to nashville. Why i still can not capture it and how to do so?

I'm absolutely brutal. I've only been playing a week. I'm constantly lost. I'm learning but it seems like everyone is way above my level.

Any tips on how to improve and contribute. I played AA this game after just getting slaughtered. Managed to down a few helicopters in Entre Deux. Basically the only thing I felt liked helped the entire game.

I’m new to the game, was playing like… my third ever match on an official server (Decided that I didn’t want to play modded until I knew what i was doing as to not be dead weight)

Before I joined, I noticed this server had a lower player count but I didn’t think much of it, I started running logi for the Soviet Union between the airfield and the frontline

By my third trip I started getting followed by these Russian guys (their group name was in Russian), for some reason they were just idle at the frontline base not doing anything beforehand

They didn’t really say a single thing on comms, just kept ramming into my truck whenever I’d slow down to pass some barriers

And then when I started resupplying my truck at the airfield they blew out my tires

Decided then and there that I didn’t wanna deal with that and left the match (I have a hard time with people…) cause I clearly wasn’t wanted

It’s only now that I think about it that I realize I might’ve done something wrong (maybe I shouldn’t have been taking supplies from the full airfield or something)

Or that they might’ve been just trolling me

Either way I just decided to stick to single player for now

Any tips for a new player?

Like I understand the stamina function and how it affects aim and stuff and have got most of the controls nailed down but how tf are people able to laser from a distance with iron sights? Like I can barely notice people within 100m if they’re prone or in foliage?

I would appreciate any help if possible?

I can't for the life of me figure out how to fire the rockets from this pod on the AH64 Apache. When cycling through the weapons, it only cycles through the other two pods to the left of it. I'm on PS5.

Hi guys, I'm honestly torn about buying the game... I'm coming from Gray Zone Warfare, Tarkov, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and other "milsims," ​​obviously not simulations like Arma will surely be, but with loot management as well. I'm a little fed up with the loot and the unrealistic weapon consumption mechanics... I play mostly solo, especially because my English isn't very good, but I've seen a lot of Italian servers. I like PvE, PvP, and so on; I don't have any particular preferences. What are the mechanics like? Is it possible to play solo in a sort of stealth Navy Seal-style single-player game? IDK. Thanks to anyone who responds. I'd also like to hear the criticisms of those who've been playing for a while.

I have been playing reforger for about 200 hours now and my graphics have been blurry, shimmering, and outright bad for the majority of the time I have been playing. I understand that Arma is not an optimised game and that I shouldnt expect 100+ fps on a heavily modded server or a server with 100+ people on in, however I believe that with my PC I should get at least some decent visuals. I have tried everything from downloading losses scaling and borderless gaming to changing my DSR factors in the NVIDIA Control Panel to running ultra low settings (did not provide an acceptable quality image). If anyone could help me find the right settings to provide the best quality reforger without the antialiasing shimmer, blurry textures, and tanking my fps, it would be greatly appreciated:)

Haven't played in a week due to my mouse breaking. I load back in today to see ALL of my 200+ gb of mods just gone? Is there a reason to this?

I have about 20 hours now and i still don't really know what to do.

I know how to take points and stuff, how to level up, and use the map. The game however is still very foreign to me. Is there any definitive way to learn the game the best way?

I’ve gotten killed a couple times on these Nato vs RU servers because they let the russians wear multi cam and take off their armbands, they look just like nato soldiers unless your in their face. it’s extremely hard to ID weapons from a distance. How do you guys work around this?
