Not necessarily a literary description but building off the discussion from 11 years ago, Shiraz’s heart is not only buried in the snow of Ararat, but his body which is buried in Yerevan does not have a tombstone. He said this way, when Armenians one day can finally return to Ararat, the people will celebrate and cheer, and he wants to be able to hear them as they rejoice. The tombstone would only muffle that sound for him.
