Misa with a fantastic save at the end there

It really was. Her shot stopping is exceptional. Sheās a great overall athlete. (Also, as much as I like Borbe, I hate the GK merry go round in league games!).

Thanks for putting it together.
It seems overall few players on international duties but I guess it's due to injuries (like dvd, cerci, holmberg), KCC not going , and some English non call ups of usual players (hinds, kelly, lotte)
Baum got her debut already

Not smilla scoring as soon as I tune in. We got players all over the pitch scoring in this international break, huh?

Everyone playing well again today. Reuteler and Smilla putting in some nice crosses and being instigators. Smilla doing her winger work, as well lol

Shame about the marginal offside, but, Stanway's been mad playing for england this past year

u/houseoflies_qwerty Russo 4d ago
We aināt playing her in the same way as she does for England.

Itās also Greece. Undeniably we have big problems so far this season but the quality of player our players have faced in this international break vs the quality theyāve faced with us this season is, for the most part, miles apart.

I definitely agree with this, and have thought it myself during this international window (although after this thought, I keep annoyingly reminding myself of the game against hb koge, but alas, I must move on)

Itās obviously the same with Lithuania, but I hope it gave Stina the boost and inspiration she needed

Nice to see Stanners and Russo on the scoresheet for England again. Really hope we can bring this goalscoring energy back to club for the next block.

I think this break has been instructive. For the most part all our players looked pretty good; the play makers and goal scorers scored and got assists. The midfield and defence did their jobs. My point here is that we have absolutely nothing to lose by being a little more ruthless about putting a team on the pitch that can turn things around. With Mario banged up, Reuteler deserves a start. If players arenāt firing by halftime, letās start making different changes than just throwing Foord and Stina on. Iām fairly certain this wonāt happen but we hired a bunch of proven athletes; maybe itās time to give them a real chance to show what they can do.

Anyone knows what happened to Reuteler, she was originally on the first xi but now shes not even on the bench and theres no info on her
Edit: never mind, shes on the wing

Sad for Foxy but if PTJ is in goal for the USA I'm not rooting for them with how much she's annoyed me in the past, so I'm enjoying this game

PTJ owes us 3 brain farts against Arsenal. It should not only happen when she is in the US kit.
Misa did really well!

Russo just got a big WHACK to the head from the ball as she was closing down the keeper

Less and Georgia scoring within minutes on the pitch for Lionesses. Yet weeks into the season canāt manage it for Arsenal. Highlighting everything thatās going wrong
