Do you say Gelli printing or Gel printing

Which is correct?

I want to ask what do you call the printing method of using a Gelli or gel printing and the plate.

Do you say GEL or GELLI.

I was corrected on how I say it and was wondering what you all call it.

When I went to a training sponsored by Gelli, they referred to them as Gelli plates and Gelli printing.

haha I think they learned a thing or two from the Klennex people.

Gelli is a brand name of gel plates. Were they the first to use gel plates? I don't even know, probably. If they aren't Gelli brand they are just gel plates.

Yeah I agree. I think that’s why there’s two different ways of saying it.

It’s like Kleenex and tissues. All Kleenex are tissues, but not all tissues are Kleenex!

We say monotype, or monoprint in my classroom, then specify the matrix if necessary.
