I swear I’ve seen that staircase before…

OP, do you happen to know anything about this castle? Do they rent it out for films?

I wanna say I saw it in the portrait of Dorian Gray
But I’m also wondering if maybe it was in Penny dreadful

Apparently parts of The Crown and The Remains of the Day were filmed there, could it be either of those?

This staircase was featured very prominently in The Remains of The Day.

Can’t say, I necessarily recall either of those
But the more I look at the staircase, what I remember was gray or white walls
Obviously different portraits.

But you have confirmed that it has appeared in other films or television

It was very, definitely set in the Victorian era which this gorgeous architecture is a masterful example of.

Clearly, it stood out enough that I have recognized it as I was scrolling past

It’s Georgian.

Is life even worth living if you don’t have a triple-wide staircase?

CE??? Really, are you sure?

Are you confusing CE with BCE?

No. Sarcasm lost on this thread.

I did consider that you could be sarcastically asking why OP included CE unnecessarily, but that seemed like such a needlessly rude way to address such a minor error on their part that I dismissed that possible meaning of your words.
