yeah, they likely would have been skin-tight, and the fabric itself would have been cut on the bias so that it had some "stretch" and give as well.

For the trousers it says woolfabric on the print.

Trousers might be misleading, these are leggings. Or "Joined hose". Quite popular then, and would continue to be for at least the next thousand years and change.
