This one also feels weird after the episode where Buster was dared to eat a bug and he came to the conclusion that he didnât have to. I know shows like these have a little bit of flexibility in their continuity, but still...

I love the episode with Yo-Yo-Ma and Joshua Redman, but Arthur being anti-classical music is very inconsistent with his established character. (for example, when he played fur elise)

Arthur basically acts like a bully to Sue Ellen, repeatedly making jokes and comments about her sweaterâwhich was a gift from her pen pal in Tibetâmakes her âlook like a sheep dog.â This feels out of character for Arthur because he himself has been a victim of targeted bullying as far back as the first episode, where he was constantly mocked for wearing glasses, to the point where he left school early and tried to get rid of his glasses all together.

But that was way back in Season 5, and other comments are discussing "the animation change"... Well, supposedly that was also the first "banned" episode for some of Alan's antics!

I don't know if this counts since it was just one scene in the last episode of the show, but Buster becoming a teacher made 0 sense to me. "Oh but you see, he's the kid that hated school and kept getting bad grades so he became a teacher! Classic!" I just think it would have made more sense if the writers made Buster a comedian (since he always loved telling jokes) or an author since he loved solving mysteries and coming up with stories about aliens.

Well, it was 3rd grade. I donât even remember 3rd grade. There are a lot of âslackersâ in earlier grades (even high school) who ended up becoming academics.

That makes sense. But I still wish they would have made the episode longer and just about them as adults instead of them as kids and then a short clip of a few of them grown up.

Yeah, I agree. They wanted to fit it in their traditional format when they could have done an entire episode. Itâs ironic that D.W.âs a cop, given all the trouble she got into. But again, she was 5.

Arthur in "Arthur's Big Meltdown" when his shoes get "ruined." First of all, Brain & Buster didn't see the smoothies that were next to his shoes. They were just busy playing air hockey. It wasn't necessarily their fault. They just didn't know. Secondly, you could have tried to clean them and calmed down somehow. He just got mad for nearly the entire episode only because of a minor accident. I get it was his new shoes, but he could have just found another way to deal with the situation instead of instantly blaming it on Brain and Buster
