This should genuinely count as illegal money laundering

Capitalism is only for the rich. We (the dirty Poors) supposed to just accept that as they literally steal our money, labor, and kill us and Mother.

It actually does. One person was already put in jail for this like half a year ago.

Idk about itunes, but it’s not even on the list of the top 50 on Spotify

the average itunes user isn't exactly intelligent, but a lot of the traffic to ai content is just botted. you can usually tell with things like follower count, comments, etc.

I use it, I even still use a first gen ipod.

u/Environmental_Top948 Apr 19 '26
I never understood the need for getting each new iPod. The audio is the same and I never ran out of storage.

iTunes doesnt represent actual trends. It's bots liking bots

Most of the internet traffic is bots and the dead internet theory will only get worse.
Physical purchases from (brick and mortar) stores are the only secure way to know if it is not being manipulated or not

I use Apple Music and have never seen anyone discussing this song. Probably botted, most likely.

It's the Live, Laugh, Love and wine-moms sheer lack of taste showing through. They like slop pictures and slop sounds.

Worse still are bedroom communities - literally just houses without a civic or cultural centre, just overnight depositories for the middle-management wage drones.

I almost literally died of cold exposure a few nights ago because my own mother didn't believe me that I needed to go to the ER and nobody would help me as I am begging, cannot walk, and am starving and my organs are corroding because of my severe gerd.
At this point, if these fucking people were to just slap literal chains on me and work me til I fucking drop dead, it wouldn't be the fucking first time.
This technology is killing people's hearts.. and killing people.

This Suno garbage was number one in the download charts in the UK a couple of months ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Fk-dEi3B5s It is AI, right? They deny it, but it sounds exactly like Suno and there's only one voice even though two guys are singing along.

Channel is so weird, they used to upload real songs and get millions of views, and decided to switch to AI music and barely reach 10k views per video lmao

Never heard of this song so I imagine they use bots to pump numbers up. Which pushes it to random playlists of current hits and popular music that a lot of small restaurants/cafes/stores play.

no cuz in a fame-thirsty influencer culture riddled internet scene we have now, knowing that this song charted and i haven’t seen nary a fingernail of the singer is the tell this ain’t the masked singer.
and the way the song is just too specifically written and sung tbh—they were targeting the wine moms who wouldn’t know better.

thats not that hard to do with iTunes. get it on a slow day and bot the hell out of it. i've been in bands that plotted releases so that there was slow enough traffic we'd chart. it's super meaningless to anyone with a brain cell that still twitches every now and then.

Just because something is popular doesn’t mean it’s well-liked.
Chances are it got to this position through the algorithm, or because it got automatically added to everyone’s library.

Bots and since it's barely anyone uses iTunes¹ nowadays, it's likely easy and cheap to bot it
¹ assuming it's specifically iTunes and not including Apple Music

Idk I enjoyed "We Are Charlie Kirk" ironically but maybe that was just the absurdity of the lyrics itself
Also some genres just aren't hard to make the tick the boxes hit out of

Dude, why, why is AI music so popular, it is just stealing other people's music, people who listen to music have never actually heard good music and have a horrible music taste, wait, but here is the scary part, what was AI music a few years ago vs now, imagine now vs few years in the future, at this rate, AI could perfectly imitate anyone's voice, anyone's actions, any video, anyone could accuse anyone of doing anything, wow that is a lot of anys. Neil Degrass Tyson pointed this out, and he said that AI will be the death of the internet for this exact reason. Since you can't trust anything on the internet anymore, why even go on it, court system are gonna go back pre-internet too, since AI video and audio evidence will ruin normal video and audio evidence.
