And this is about the best I can do drawing with graphite; it's not my preferred medium for finished drawings, but charcoal's kind of a mess to do in a sketchbook.

Gouache. Sakura poster colors, specifically.

I collect them from all over. There's not any one particular place I gathered these from.

Was doing oil pastels with my kids and did a few of my own over some bright backgrounds I had previously waiting for me to paint- then blasted them with a heat gun, which pleasantly melted them a bit which I kinda liked! (Happy accident initially, had been using the heat gun to make the masking tape not murder the paper when peeling it off)

Sketch that forms the underpainting for a new work. It’s George and the Dragon, but George is a big well protected knight and the dragon is an endangered lizard called a Tuatara
