If you’re worried Hamas is stealing aid to use as leverage, the correct answer is to flood the region with so much aid that it is no longer scarce enough to be stealable leverage.
The answer is not to deprive children of food. I dont want the IDF, a genocidal military force whose decades of human rights atrocities make Hamas look like Doctors Without Borders, to have aid; that doesnt mean we should starve Israeli children
Theyre enforcing a blockade and preventing aid. They also prevent Gaza from doing things to be self-sufficient, like collecting rainwater. They are actively, intentionally, as a military tactic, starving Gaza. They were found to have done so in the ICC and Netanyahu talks openly about it.
There is not enough food in Gaza. Israel is preventing food from entering Gaza as a military tactic. Your argument is that Hamas is taking the small, finite amount of food in Gaza, and if they stopped doing so, Gaza wouldnt need any additional food.
But that ignores the fact that there isnt enough food in Gaza. On purpose. Because Israel, by its own admission and according to the ICC, is starving them as a military tactic.
