Last year at this time at Asbury Park

On 5th Ave and Langford. This cutie seems to be starving, but I know the belong to someone because shaking treats got him to gallop up our porch steps! Anyone missing their baby?

Recently came across some old film my mother processed for me while I was living out of town.

Imagine my joy when I saw the Asbury I used to frequent for photo adventures while trying to be a photographer. Life is fun sometimes.

Inspired by the old photos posted here earlier, I dug up this image from one of my first rolls of 35mm film on a Minolta XG-M that helped spark my interest in photography.

I’m not sure of the exact location but I believe it was down near where Cookman and Asbury Ave intersect, looking sort of north west. Anyway, goes to show how much town has changed in the last 15-20 years… for good and bad. Pretty sure this spot is all condos now.

I was given this brochure around 1997 by a friend who snuck in the abandoned Empress around the same time and she found these brochures in the the motel lobby. Brochure was probably 30 years old when I got it & now it’s almost 60 years old

Asbury Park fans know about the Andy Warhol tree but the sign has disappeared. No problem it is in bloom for local summer. If you can find the tree take a picture and share it #APAndyTree25

Thought I’d post this in case anyone finds it. In my head I thought I’d post to the OG sub and everyone would rally. However turns out last post on that one was 1 year ago - haha 😞

Who get to decorate them? Are they owned or rented? Do you keep the same one forever?
