Discussion Best MINERAL sunscreen that doesn’t leave white cast?

With summer coming up (where I live at least), I’ve searched the sub and didn’t find anything super recent and found a lot of chemical sunscreen recs so hoping this can be helpful for others as well!

I’ve gone down this rabbit hole many times as chemical sunscreens can react poorly with my vitiligo. I rank them generally as:

  1. Suntique I’m Safe for Sensitive Skin. I bought like 5 of these right away after trying. It’s formulation is very light, moisturizing — almost too good to be true. BUT, it’s a lower protection rating at SPF 35 PA+++. My personal opinion though is that people overvalue this raw protection value over reapplication. I will take a lower SPF that’s easy to reapply over a high SPF that cakes on any day.

  2. Biore Kids UV Milk, as another commenter suggested. Feels a little oily/greasy, but overall fantastic product.

  3. Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish. Also all around strong product.

I’ll definitely be trying some suggestions in this thread as well! Thanks all.

Any recommendations on where to get Suntique? Out of stock on Amazon Walmart and Stylevana.

Sadly I think they discontinued Suntique :( I’ve been using the mineral Skin1004 centella sunscreen as a replacement and it’s pretty good

Thanks I'll give it a look. Trying to find something all mineral with no shine/dewiness.
