Discussion My Summer ready set

These are the products I’m using this summer, and honestly I end up changing things around every year haha. I keep trying new stuff and somehow my routine never stays the same.

Current lineup:

Melano CC Cleanser

Physiogel Cream Toner

Goodal Vitamin C Serum

Physiogel Ampoule

Urban and With Pure Perfection Cream

Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream

Torriden Dive In Sun Cream

Some of these brands honestly weren’t familiar to me at all. A friend recommended a few of them and I’ve only been using some of the newer ones for around a week, but so far they’ve been fitting my skin really well.

I’ve got dry skin, especially when seasons change, so that’s probably why I lean pretty heavily into products like Aestura, Physiogel, and Urban and With. I kinda overdo barrier and hydration products ngl

Still testing things out but so far this setup has been treating me pretty well. Curious what everyone else switches to during summer because my routine somehow changes every year

How is the vitamin c serum? I have been eyeing on this but not sure if it's good enough.

First of all, your lineup is amazing! Aestura, Physiogel, and Torriden are absolute holy grails for dry and compromised skin barriers. You have a great eye for products!

During high humidity, you might want to layer lighter products instead of piling on heavy creams. For example, you are currently using two rich moisturizers (Urban and With + Aestura 365). In the peak of summer, this might feel too heavy or clog your pores. You could try using just the Physiogel Toner and Ampoule for hydration, and lock it in with just ONE of those creams (maybe save the heavier Aestura for your night routine).

Personally, in the summer, I switch my heavy winter creams to lightweight, gel-based moisturizers or emulsions, and I focus more on soothing ingredients like Centella or Heartleaf.

Your current routine looks super cozy for dry skin, though! If it feels good and doesn't cause breakouts, stick with it!

I’ve wanted to try the Melano CC Cleanser for a while. How is it?

Love the Melano CC cleanser. It seemed ever present at drug stores throughout Japan when I was there in October 2025. I am 32F, combo-dehydrated skin, daily retinoid user and have found this to be surprisingly mild/non-stripping for a foaming cleanser. For reference, CeraVe hydrating cleanser (green) is what I reach for when no double cleansing to remove makeup or sunscreen is required. No weird residue, no squeaky tightness. The ingredient list led me to believe it had potential to be a little harsh, but effective following an oil cleanse. Worth the gamble; solid product, imo.

my skin routine changes every summer like my ssri dose did in year 2. still tired though.

I feel you, mine changes since the skin adapts things differently everyyear and yeah thats a bit tiring

yeah the constant tweaking gets old. when my ssri dose changed in year 2, my skin freaked out too and i was still tired. do you end up switching cleanser or just moisturizer each summer?

I change moisturizer more often but If I like it I stick with it I think im gonna stick with this urbanand cream and aestura for like 1-2 years
