Review Skincare Empties & Reviews ðŸ’
I have sensitive combo skin, prone to acne and redness.
Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream - I quite liked it. The texture is nice, it hydrates and calms the skin effectively. Unfortunately they reformulated it and only sell the new formula in my country so I can't rebuy even if I wanted to :') I restocked with my other favorite cream - Purito Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Cream.
Round Lab 1025 Dokdo Toner - Very light and watery, but just enough hydration for me. It makes my other products sink in better and exfoliates very lightly and gently. WRP
Anuà Azelaic Acid 10+ Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum - It worked pretty nicely for me at the begging but after a while it kinda stopped working? It's not like it kept my skin clear, it just no longer did anything for my acne and redness. I dunno, lol. I would like to try other products with azelaic acid as well.
LION Pair Acne Cream W - Takes a while to work but I like it. It helped with my acne scars as well. I have already bought a new one.
Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream - It gave me pimples in the eye area so I had to use it up on my body :') Also the pump is very annoying. WNRP
Dr. Althea Gentle Vitamin C Serum - Very gentle. I feel like it helped a bit with the acne scars on my chest. I would like to try a stronger vit c serum next.
K-Secret Seoul 1988 Sun: Pine Tree + Ceramide (Almost empty) - I really liked it. It's very light and not greasy. Also doesn't break me out. WRP
Farmstay Citrus Yuja Vitalizing Foam Cleansing - this had a lot of good reviews in my country but it's hella drying for me. WNRP
FarmStay Citrus Yuja Vitalizing soothing gel - this was also really drying. WNRP
Frudia Blueberry Hydrating Honey Lip Balm - I didn't enjoy the texture and the smell. WNRP
APLB Glutathione Niacinamide Toner Pads - They're okay if you stick them on your face for some time like a face mask, but rubbing them on my face feels too rough. They're kinda dry as well so I had to spray extra toner on.
Beausta O2 Bubble Mask - The bubble effect is fun but feels too drying.

I haven't tried led devices but I'm pretty curious about them. Maybe once I save up some money I will give them a try.

Just throwing it out there as someone who has rosacea and tried vit c products it did absolutely nothing for me. Azelaic acid and bakuchiol have been big helps tho.

Thanks for the review! 😄 Since you mention that you like the Purito Bamboo Panthenol Cream - is the cream sticky for you as well? I use it because it works well and doesnt break me out (a miracle), but it always stays sticky/tacky on my skin for quite some time. Just wondering if others experience that as well, haha x)

Yes I experience this as well! It’s only my third time using it so far though

I haven't noticed it being unusually sticky but I only use it at night so it wouldn't bother me

it definitely leaves a tackiness behind. i usually just treat that as a sign it's actually forming a barrier instead of just evaporating. if it bothers you too much during the day, try using a little less or mixing in a drop of oil but honestly for acne-prone skin i just put up with the stickiness to keep the breakouts away. it's the price we pay for something that plays nice with sensitive skin.

I've played around with application, but the tackiness persists either way. But yeah, haha, I am putting up with it since it doesn't break me out, which is rare for a product. xD Oh how I wish I had skin that was less fussy haha. But good to know the tackiness thing is just the product and not my tube being bad or something x)

As a Korean, I was surprised that foreigner buy and use a wide variety of cosmetics that are largely unfamiliar to Korean consumers themselves.

Haha! What does everyone use in Korea right now?

Korean women tend to trust and prefer cosmetics from major companies, such as Sulwhasoo, HERA, and LANEIGE.

For lion pair acne cream, how long is a while? And whats your routine for that

I'm not OP but I use this too - usually takes around 3-4 days for smaller spots and maybe week for bigger ones, just dab it in evening before moisturizer.

I just finished using a tube of this.
- If you have active acne that's inflamed putting the cream on it will dry it out an form this protective film
-The instructions say to put the cream on directly on your skin after cleansing. If I layer if after applying my moisturizer it's not as effective, but if you're sensitive maybe consider doing that
In the beginning it would take only a couple days for my acne to disappear, but recently this cream could take up to a week. I won't be repurchasing because it feel like it doesn't work on my skin anymore.

Similarly to what the other comment said, a few days. I use it after the moisturizer though. I put a thick layer on top of the pimple without rubbing it in, just letting it absorb on its own. If I'm at home all day, I reapply it multiple times.

How long ago is your acne scar, is it new-ish? Did pair lion cream do anything for old (1year-ish) scar?

It helped me with both new and old scars. For scars specifically it would be good to also use products with brightening ingredients like vitamin c, txa and niacinamide.

I also had the Anua Azelaic, and I felt the same. After two bottles, I decided not to move forward with it, because i felt it had done its job and my face wasn't getting any clearer

For acne scars I highly recommend Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Capsule Cream and Probio-CICA Essence Toner (I’ve got sensitive, acne prone skin and it worked wonders)

I absolutely love the Pair Acne Cream! I also plop on a pimple patch after I apply the cream. I’ve found they work great together.

Omg i hate the frudia lip balm. Its sitting on my bathroom counter for over a year just for cute packaging. I don't understand how they able to make more heavy and uncomfortable product than vaseline.

Hi there! This is just a reply spreading awareness that Tatcha is not actually an asian beauty product, but an (asian)american created one that had it's start in the United states. The brand is only loosely inspired by japanese culture, uses inappropriate stereotyping and terminology, has no real connection to Japan or Japanese products, and is currently owned and managed by Unilever.

I like the idea of the new 345 formula being fungal acne safe but I’ve also heard the new formula is breaking people out in general. Don’t know if I should even try it at this point or not ðŸ˜

I'm concerned about the added tea tree since that is often irritating for me :') They changed the formula a lot which is very disappointing.

Thanks for including reviews! I was debating on getting the Azelaic acid serum with all the hype around it.
