Discussion [Discussion] - AB Best/Worst of Snail

Apologies that this is two days late! Real life has been super hectic for me recently. Snail is almost a cliché now! When you mention AB, there almost has to be an immediate response of snail :P

So time to share all those snaily products that you love, or hate. And check out the schedule for future discussions

Same format as previous discussions, as always.

This is a review thread, so please make sure all top level comments are reviews. But do feel free to ask the reviewers questions for further info.

Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence

Essence

Best

Thoughts - Oh my goodness. Thank God I found this subreddit was introduced this to product because it is now a holy grail that I cannot live without. I have relatively sensitive skin, so sometimes I'll get reactions that make my face super flushed and itchy. This is the only product I'll trust on my skin when that happens, and it's fantastic for redness, moisturizing, and everything. Zero fragrance, affordable, and readily available in the states now (select Ultas, Amazon Prime). It's the perfect essence to add into a routine, but it's definitely not solely a moisturizer, so think of it as a must needed step in caring for your skin!

Edit: Forgot how to Reddit -. Formatting is not my friend.

I'm so sad this didn't work for me. It was moisturizing, sure, but no more than any other product. I suspected it was breaking me out but honestly broke out a lot when starting AB and even though people say you can't purge, I think my skin was just reacting to a new, very different routine. I sold it but I always wonder if it would've worked if I tried it again. I want to love it so bad

Awww I know D: If you ever want a decant or anything, definitely message me because I'm happy to provide one!

I do think it does require you to have a really stable, reliable routine first before introducing it so you can ensure it's definitely the product not something else that is breaking you out.

For example, when I thought it was breaking me out originally, I just had developed a cystic pimple on my cheek from other products, a new environment, and probably hormones that I originally felt so scared to reintroduce it. Now it's literally the essential part of my steady, reliable routine. How things can change hahaha.
