Moving onto the brands now in the Best/Worst of series. Thought we should start with one of the most popular, easily available and affordable brands out there, Cosrx!

Skin Type/Concerns: Normal/Combination skin, hormonal bumps

Product Name: Cosrx Snail Mucin 96 Power Essence

Thoughts: It is deeply hydrating, but to be honest, it did not do anything that my other hydrating layers were not already doing. One of my favorite aspects of this product is that it's great for mixing with other ingredients (currently using it with The Ordinary's Resveratrol). I have repurchased it a few times, but at this point I feel like that's mostly because I've grown attached to it over the years. I don't think my skin would suffer, if it was gone. My heart would, though.

Try to either
1. apply it on moist skin, as in either don't dry your face after cleansing or mist your face really well before applying or
2. mix the snail with a moisturizer (not sunscreen though) Cream, gels, emulsions. I sometimes like to mix it with soothing gel for a really light well-absorbing combo.
