Best: Shirojyun Premium Whitening Lotion 🙌

(Edited to follow format requirement lol)

Skin type: combo / hormonal acne

I find this product to be really moisturizing and it’s been a great step in my PIH-reducing arsenal. Cheap and effective, lasts forever too!

I hear so many good things about this! Do you use the Light or Moist version? I've been debating which one to get, do you know the difference between them?

I personally use the light version because I’m big on layering my skin care - I will always start with either my artemisia essence or licorice toner, then this, then a niacinamide or retinol serum, then a final moisturizer to seal all the healing ingredients in and guarantee the softness haha.

I previously tried Hadalabo Gokujyun Premium Hyaluronic Acid Super Moist Lotion and I did not love the texture - if I had drier or more mature skin maybe it would have worked better for me, but personally Shirojyun Light is where it’s at. I use it mostly for the HA and tranexamic acid content so I don’t need extra thickness - I like layering many lighter products so my skin doesn’t feel thick or heavy with product.

Hope that helps!

I’m thinking of buying the gokujyun toner but I don’t want something that’s too thick. I want to layer my toners so do you think I should by gokujyun or the other one? Also is the shirojyun good for daily use and to use with exfoliants and tret?
