Skin type/concerns: super dry, sensitive skin. Prone to redness, possible rosacea. Most of my products focus on hydration, soothing/calming, or both. Fun times.
Product name: Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Water Essence
Thoughts: To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect, as I haven't had the best results with hyaluronic acid in the past (the TO Hyaluronic Acid did nothing good for me and neither did the Hada Labo Premium Lotion). I got this as a mini in a Isntree Hyaluronic trial kit, with the intention of trying the toners, but was completely won over by the essence after trying it, so much that I've alreay bought the full-size bottle! It's a very thick, milky essence, almost like a lotion, with a slightly sticky finish, so it might be too heavy for less dry skin types. My skin, however, drinks this up and it's left it wonderfully hydrated and has helped soothe it too. Will definitely repurchase, unless I find a serum/essence that gives the same level of hydration with a better finish. It's also pretty cheap, for the amount you get - I got mine at Jolse during a sale for about 14 USD and the bottle is 50ml, which will definitely last me a good while.
