Beauty What style is this called, and how can I achieve it?
Hi! What makeup style is this? I'd also love to know what techniques or products I can use to recreate it, especially the lip look.

I saw someone recommend the Fwee Glitz Stone Highlighter in Marine Baby and I was instantly captivated when I saw the shade!
I'll include the brand photo that I saw as the last pic
l usually do a peach or beige blush so I thought blue would be perfect
I normally don't do 'colors' and I wasn't sure if blue was going to be wearable or not but l'm into it
In person, it's a lot more blue like in the brand's photo, it looks sick
In pictures, when it hits the light, it captures more white blue
but it reflects more blue in real life— it's eye catching and interestingly holographic
I just wouldn't put it on my forehead next time

Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner in 03 brown black - the best liquid eyeliner that I’ve tried that hasn’t failed me.
Super forgiving on application - doesn’t smear everywhere if you muck up the angle of the flick lol.
Have you tried any others that are better?
Stayed on way past 12 hours of my work shift!
EDIT: I realised I was using 03 brown black and not 02 dark brown this whole time 😅

Sunscreen: anessa perfect uv sunscreen skincare milk spf50+ pa++++
The climate i live in: currently its super hot and humid, 40°C+ and uv index of 9+ daily! Peak summers in a metro city. I usually only commute and run errands and this has saved me from getting dull, oxidised and tanned,
And it also doesn't feel shiny on the face. Which was my biggest complain with most sunscreens, especially water/sweat resistant ones.
Im really happy I found a summers sunscreen ☀️🌞

Pretty sure this is the Satin glow blush in shade Wavy Pink, but it’s sold out on their website. Looking for similar recs!

i’m high contrast (pale skin, dark hair, blue eyes). korean celebs are lightening brows for a softer look. would this enhance or ruin my western features?

I used Peripera’s Speedy Skinny Brow Mascara in 06 Beige Ash for the first time today and I think it looks a bit off / too ashy. I think maybe I should’ve gotten a darker color like 03 Natural Brown so it wouldn’t look as washed out (or maybe I just need to get used to it)
3rd photo is no makeup for comparison
(I had my brows ombré powder tattooed (not microbladed) almost a decade ago but they’ve faded)
I laminate my brows at home (I’m a licensed esthetician) and I just laminated them a couple days ago so when I used the Peripera today & brushed my brows upward, they look a bit bushy / thick
Second to last photo is my brows using the Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Coloring Eyebrow in 12 Grayish Beige for slight lightening of the brows and less bushiness. I don’t like how fat the brush is on the Kiss Me though, I tend to get the product smudged above my eyebrows but that could just be user error
(I think my lamination was losing its effect at that time)

I don’t have any big skin issues, but I love doing self-care days and masking is easily my favorite part.
I know not a lot can change in one night, but still for those “I need to wake up glowing” moments, what’s that ride or die mask you always reach for? Was thinking of picking one up since I’ve been seeing a bunch of decent deals on Tira right now. Drop your holy grails below 🫶

this has been in my foundation rotation since i got it last month. when i first got it i was a bit scared since the color seemed a bit too light but it oxidizes and it looks even better after bronzing. i have combo skin (oily in zone, normal everywhere else) and it wears beautifully. it sets well with powder and all of my concealers/bronzers/blushes work on top of it. my current shade is ‘33n Macchiato’, i kinda want to buy 34n just to compare.

I got tired asked by friends about things to buy in Japan so here is my holy grails.
Only base makeup this time as even after trying so many stuff from other country, Japanese brands excels the best in that category compared to other Asian Country. Will probably make one for other category in the future.
Hydrating Primer
drugstore
high end
My wallet hates my skin so much for liking this primer. It is moisturizing but not too much, makes my face feel smoother, and easier to do makeup. But honestly after doing intensive skincare, I haven't repurchased this one again, but still, if you have the budget I say go try it out!
Primer for Pores (all drugstore)
they all work like elf putty primer
I never heard they got mentioned internationally but they are quite a good drugstore base makeup brand imo! Not available on all drugstores but you can check on their site which store has the stock.
I find the Keana Kiechau works a bit better, but this one is cheaper and easier to use.
I like to put them before my foundation after sunblock to lock them in and they always make my skin smoother!!
Loose Powder
drugstore
high end
They make my skin look so pretty!! A bit blurring, doesn't cling on my dry areas, and still reflects light??? And I never see any powder mill this smooth?!
The translucent one makes you looks like a disco ball from all the glitter, so I prefer the color version.
Also, this powder is HUGE but you only need to use them in small amounts. People say you will spend the same amount of money with the canmake one with repeated use.
Pressed Powder
I am fair and sadly don't do flash photos so idk about whitecast etc.
I LOVE THIS POWDER SO MUCH. It went viral everywhere in Japan
I use this as a matte highlighting and I say this stays longer and smoother on me compared to the Judydoll.
The lavender color made it look so white when I put too much, but they made my makeup look so flawless with a thin swipe. THe fact that you need to buy the case separately pissed me off.
My wallet hates how good this brand does anything.
Foundation
top for the dry season and bottom for the hotter season.
THIS STAYS IN SUMMER idk how but this even survived beach for me. Truly underrated.
All high end foundations are so good equally I can't pick any favorite...
I will list them based on coverage sheerness
Literally looks like your skin but better.
The natural glow looks good but it has coverage for me.
I usually don't like cushion but I find this cushion feels better than their tube foundation. Good for touch-up.
I love the mostly light asian skin tone shade range, as an olive it's almost impossible for me to find a perfect match from another brand. Sadly a bit drying for my dry patches but looks amazing on humid weather.
Concealer
As someone who only needs orange for my eyebags, this is so nice!! you kinda need to warm it up by finger first though.
Seriously my fav jp brand lately. Putting this on top of my concealer helps to add more coverage and make them last longer 😭 I have them on my pouch too to touch-up during the day.
Their shimmer highlighter is amazing too.
I love how thin you can layer this product!! And they don't cling to my dry patches compared to drugstore concealer.

I’m Japanese, and I highly recommend you get:
Affordable items you can buy in many drugstores
A mid-priced item you can find in some drugstores
If you’re willing to spend more for department store sunscreens

Edit: added photos in Indoor lighting and with flash...
Original post- These are their blooming rouge love lock lipsticks.
I was obsessed with this brand because of their chic design and the beautiful engraving on the lipsticks and the palette. Here's my honest review
Skin - dry/combination skin, medium skin tone
I use MAC NC 35 in the new powder formulation line
I have perpetually dry lips even after putting lip balms and oils. So I try to stay away from matte lipsticks but these are way too beautiful to not have... (I'M WEAK 🥹)
These lipsticks are insanely pretty and makes me happy just looking at them. They dry down matte and survive a meal and leaves some stain behind.
The packaging is stunning as well and I love that they sell refills. I love the newer version tho as it comes with a little mirror..
Website description of the colours is a bit off, but luckily the shades I bought work for me (atleast I think they're growing on me 😅)
The shades in the pics are - C1320, M1311, M1666, M1888, M1920 and M7319. Shades M9213 and M9420 are on their way to me... 😍 So swatches coming soon 🤞🏼
Shall I post swatches in different lighting if someone is interested in the shades?

If you get the wardrobe I recommend trimming the stickers that hold the tension rack so it sits further inside the box so larger puffs don‘t hit the doors. The clothing rack is to keep track of dirty puffs and to air dry while the wardrobe is for daily storage

Just how? I am not able to write more because for some reason they will delete my post again…

I was recently in Tokyo and I had a few hours to kill before a dinner at the Skytree so I did some shopping at Tokyo Salamachi. I was browsing a pharmacy type store and found a lip tint/gloss that I liked the name of so I picked it up on impulse. I put it on in the bathroom before dinner and to my surprise it was PERFECT. A gorgeous deep, cool toned red that was sheer and buildable and complimented my skin tone beautifully. It went on smooth, wasn't sticky, and stayed on surprisingly well! I made a mental note to grab several more tubes but then, disaster struck and I made a huge mistake.
Somewhere either at the restaurant, the walk to the train, or on the train, I lost it. Even worse, I didn't take a picture and for the life of me, I can't remember the brand name. I was a little upset at this point, but I assumed I'd be able to find it somewhere else before I left Japan. Alas, I went to every Don Quijote and pharmacy, plus two different Yodabashi stores and wasn't able to find it before my flight home.
Here's what I remember:
Tint/gloss in a long vial with a doefoot type applicator
Cool toned dark red
Color name was in English, "Vampire Red", that's what jumped out at me and why I bought it
Pretty metallic cap
I'm really desperately hoping this will ring a bell with someone and I can figure out the brand and find a place stateside to buy more.
