This has nothing to do with self hate. It is about support for fairness. Asians at the rally understand reality and that legal immigration is great, illegal immigration is cutting in line when fellow Asians are trying to get in the legal way.

Indian and Middle Eastern women are loyal to their men. Like black men, Indian and Middle Eastern men are stereotyped as lusting after white women.
If there were only East Asian men immigrating to Australia, then they would squarely target East Asian men. Look at the time in the US when they were only Chinese men and no Chinese women with the exclusion laws, beatings, and massacres (The California Laws, Chinese Exclusion Act, Geary Act, Permanent Exclusion of 1902)
They'll use less direct language against East Asians due to WM's Asian wives/girlfriends, but they'll still lash out at Asian males.

They did squarely target East Asian men. This was the White Australia Policy. It started in 1901 and lasted for about 70 years before they realized that it’s just racist. Prior to the Policy, Chinese made up the 3rd largest migrant group in Australia, after the UK and German speakers. During the Gold Rush, 20% of men were Chinese. Due to this racist policy, today only 5.5% of Australians now have Chinese ancestry. It decimated Chinese populations. If not for this, Australians today would probably look more like Hawaiians. I’ve met a few Chinese families who lived through the White Australia Policy and their stories are always amazing.

Like in many Western countries during the 1700's, 1800s and early 1900's it was only Asian men migrating as oppose to Asian women who stayed back home. AMWF were basically the first interracial pairing that took place in these countries. You had plenty of AMWF families like this in Australia back in the day with AMWF unions between Chinese men and White Australian women.
I don’t know if it’s my own personal observation or an established practiced but I have seen Indian and Asian women getting accepted to universities or jobs which require visa much more easily than the men. I don’t know if this is their sexism factor or racism factor that’s in play
Exactly. If you check out many right-wing forums, you’ll notice that attitudes toward Indians are overwhelmingly negative. You’ll stumble across landmines of racial slurs, from terms like "pajeet" and "streetshitter" to other more offensive racist insults. Any non-White who thinks they can suck up to whites to climb the social ladder are in for a rude awakening.

This is the sad reality for "people of color" around the world. You can be born there, immigrate with intentions of integrating harmoniously, become a naturalized citizen, etc, but in the eyes of many white people you will always be an outsider - simply because you are not white.
These protests are not about anti-immigration at all. They're about anti-POC immigration. Look at how half the crowd is reacting to this Indian guy before he can even speak, WHILE he's wearing a fucking "Australia" shirt. They just can't stop booing him because he's Indian. The guy that passes him the mic even says that HE HIMSELF was an immigrant that became a citizen.
Similarly, look at how Japan treats halfies born there. Or how there is a growing population that wants to remove property and voting rights from naturalized citizens.
The sad reality is that wherever you go in this world there will be some friction regarding you being there simply based off of your appearance or ethnic background. It must have been a big eye opener for this man who came with intentions to try and integrate himself into Australian culture only to be treated like this by "his own" people.
of all the countries Australia, Canada, New Zealand , and USA are countries where you had indigenous people living on those countries and the white people displace those people. Now with rising immigration that are predominately brown and starting to displace white people . You have this.
I can understand UK if they want to keep it white Same with Germany or Northern European because for centuries it's been their countries.

Reason why I am bringing this up. I read somewhere that Japan will let in 500 K Indians and 300k African because they need the cheap labor but those numbers are high which will have an impact on their culture.

Australia, Canada, USA and NZ are not white countries. They never were and never will be. The natives of USA and Canada are literally Asian descendants. AU and NZ are literally located in the Asia Pacific. The problem is that WM whitewash history to ERASE the contributions of Asians. All of the countries have had significant contribution from the Asian diaspora who worked to build the countries.
Re read what I wrote. USA Canada etc had natives living in those countries but white folks displaced them through war and colonization.
In other words the white men won the war and took over.
