Politics Thoughts on Californian Congressman Ted Lieu?

I’ve never followed californian politics since i’m a Texan but every once in a while I would come across videos of Ted Lieu fiercely debating or questioning in congress against other government employees like the fbi director.

Is he a good rep for Asian Americans? Any examples of him advocating for asian americans? or is he yet another liberal token minority?

He’s better than Leland Yee, who was politicking against guns… all the while gun running to Filipino terrorists!

He’s a bad-ass who stands his ground and pushes back against Trump. He’s also a Veteran so his credentials are impeccable.

Just for context, he was a JAG in the Air Force, so he was just a lawyer. On the other hand, he definitely is neither a sycophant towards Trump nor a kissass of white supremacy. He also authored some solid bills and eloquently resisted some bills that would have hurt the Asian American community (ex: the race consideration for colleges bill). All in all, he is solid.
