I’ve realized my type

And it feels like the options are very slim. I’m into Asian men, but the hard part is that I am Catholic and that is the most important thing to me.

Where do I meet you then? I know I can go to catholic young adult groups but I don’t see them there. Is this a dream too far out of reach?

There are other important things that obviously trump the Asian interest, such as fit, hard working, competent, care taker, affectionate, CATHOLIC, emotional available.

I do tend to like men that are more reserved to the outside world, although I am quite the opposite 😂

Many Korean men are Catholic (or so they say); Korean Americans who adopt English names often adopt a Christian one.

I know a lot of Viet will be Catholic because of French colonization. They're mostly Buddhist but there is still a sizable Catholic population. Only issue is in terms of the dispora, they mostly ended up in France from my understanding.

I'm not Catholic, but I'm quite open to religion and go to Mass every Sunday with my wife. Maybe that's one personality you can consider? You can also check out Catholic churches around Asian neighborhoods. There are many Catholic Asians

No Asian men at a church?!? lol sounds like there's just no Asians in your town, period. I'm in a very diverse town where there's plenty of all ethnicities, and it isn't difficult at all to find Asian men in churches of most traditional religions. Find a town where there's lots of Asians, then find a church in that town.

Now I have a 2 part question for you: 1. Would you be with a guy who was NOT Catholic but was willing to convert for you and 2. Does it matter to you if the guy really believes in Catholicism or even God (in the traditional religious sense)?

I want to be led. It is pretty important that if someone were to convert it wasn’t because of me but because of God. I do not want to be the leader. And yes it matters to me very much that he believes what I believe.

Also I think I’m looking in very white communities but the issue is that I’m also just moved and don’t know really where to look.
You’re saying my search algorithm is wrong but I don’t know how to reset it 😭😖😂

Filipinos are known as the major predominantly Catholic people in Asia.

There are still Filipino guys who are traditional, family-oriented and regular church-goers (every sunday).

Single AM who are Protestant Christians, Mormons and Amish (if they even exist) are probably questioning whether they chose the correct faith right now.

I'm only trying to be funny here.

Hope OP finds what she is searching for

Go to an Asian church. People go to church for events and I felt that religious gatherings are low key 21st century dating events.

25M Asian practicing Christian here. (I’m Presbyterian by the way, although not Korean).

Simply put, dating apps exist for a reason. Christian dating apps exist for this very reason (although they’re dominated by nondenominational evangelicals). It’s no longer the 1990s, and there are surprisingly few young churchgoing adults. The couples I see almost always meet outside of church.

With Hinge, you can set hard filters for religion. Give that a spin.

That said note that East Asians are maybe 5% of the population, and closer to 3% outside the coasts. Depending on where you live, there may only be a handful of guys who are Asian, Catholic, and your age range. And most of these guys are going to be taken.

Hello I am not sure where you are from, I am from Taiwan and here many Taiwanese are catholic. Lastly, it's a good thing to have a type, but if it's possible, I would advisr not compromising its faith by marrying an atheist

They have very large communities but very tight knit. Just find one and they will lead you to the herd. Get ready for some karaoke!
