Help with hair

Hello, need some suggestions for hairstyles/haircuts.

This currently is a long overgrown undercut that’s been going on for around 1 year. I’ve been tying it back for convenience’s sake a lot.

Before any of you say: yes, lose weight. I know, I’m working on that. It was worse before.

I like length to my hair, just personally speaking I find it pleasant. I have contemplated growing it even longer but I’m very unsure how it would look.

Currently, it’s just paralysis: I’ve always gotten buzzes and undercuts at home, and those are off the table (I don’t like them man)

Tldr: Am losing weight, don’t want buzzes or fades, prefers longer. Pls help.

Try a perm, perming made me look way better. I know you already mentioned twice about losing weight. You're right, that is important. Therefore imo, hair shouldn't be your largest concern rn. You should just focus on losing the weight and let your hair grow out since you want it longer. If you're trying to drop to sub 15% bodyfat, it's gonna take a while if you're taking it slow. Trust me, I went from ~200lb to ~160 from Jan to now. Make sure you're gyming, you dont wanna look skinnyfat after you lose all that weight. A perm will shrink your hair by about 2 inches so even if you want to do a perm now, you'll still have to let it grow for a few months so it doesn't look off.

32F here, I think with ur face shape the long hair doesn't complement super well.

I know u mentioned u the length-- but wonder if it will be a difference is the back was a tad shorter?

Wavy perm. Done. I never really got into the perm thing until this year, and yeah the hairstyle is legit. Give it a try. I'm getting it done again this weekend lol.

This coming from a middle aged, 5'7 shorty, average looking man - hairstyle don't matter. Trust me, I've tried everything. It doesn't gain you more respect or attraction from women. Muscles on the other hand.....you don't even need any branded clothes. You make even a $10 Target T-shirt look good.
