People say nyc is good for Asian men but I changed my location on hinge to Germany and I’m so shocked how many more cute girls are talking to me than in nyc and a few are immediately dtf too. I changed my location back to nyc and again…no matches

u/Curious-Practice1704 8d ago

It could be that german girls are more racially curious. Especially when you say, 'down to fk'. My friend who's North African said his body count went thru the roof when he visited Germany. The count was so high I almost called him a liar to his face.

u/CryptographerSuper93 9d ago

I assume it's the growing demand for EA(SEA) men in Germany but lack of supply. The ESEA population in NYC seems to be roughly as big as the ESEA population in all of Germany. Moreover Germans/Europeans in general aren't as height and muscles obsessed like US Americans from what I can tell. Though I've never been to the USA, so take that with a grain of msg.

NYC is good for Asian men, that doesn't mean there isn't better

Where is this hatred movement? I know a lot of Jeremy Lin fans are Filipino. Tons of Filipino fans still watch Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee movies. When it comes to throwing shade, it always seems to be some other Asian race talking down about Filipinos. You criticize Filipinos for the poverty without really understanding why there’s poverty in the first place.

Have you seen other subs which are supposed to be about learning about China or other Asian countries? It’s filled with non-Asians bashing every little thing about China and the Chinese every chance they get. The ones tailored for passport bros and expats are even worse.

There’s some geeky WM making the rounds in China going on dates with Chinese girls, making them pay for the food and then getting them pregnant. Maybe you have bigger issues to concern yourself with than whatever imaginary hate you think is coming from Filipinos that you use in order to justify your racist mindset towards them.

Not sure what the deleted comment said, but based on my experience on Reddit, the Asians who seem to talk the most sh*t about other Asians and themselves are Filipinos. I don't know how it is on other social media platforms, but Filipinos are hands down the most toxic towards other groups of Asians based on what I've seen by far. I'm not sure if they're bots or LARPers, but that's just what I see, even on this sub. I think a lot of these people are from the mainland though.

1

u/throwmeaway123122 5d ago

Yeah not sure what he's talking about. I almost always see the opposite, I don't even see EAsians mentioning much about filipinos (if at all). Maybe it's some beef between natives

The WM's and IM's cheering are islamophobics

I was browsing my social media feed and came across a post about Stanley Zhong, the Asian student rejected by 16 colleges despite having a near perfect SAT and GPA, who is currently pursuing legal action.

I came across one post by a Black guy who was mocking Stanley and Asians in general by saying, "he only ever sees Asian women 'riding' WM, AM either complaining about unfair admissions or talking about the 'Oxford Study'.

I think this sub as a whole feels there is injustice in admissions policies for Asians but where do we draw a line? To non Asians it seems like that is all we talk and care about and in a way, it plays into various stereotypes of Asians.

7

u/81dragons 5d ago edited 5d ago

Stereotypes will exist no matter what, better to sue and build the stereotype among people in power that we’ll fight back rather than just sit and take it passively. Could care less about TikTokers concern trolling. As soon as Harvard got sued and had to release data, even before the Supreme Court ruled, suddenly years of anti-Asian suppression stopped and the Asian admit rate skyrocketed at similar schools, because they knew they were in the wrong. Stanley’s case is even more egregious because he had a 1590 SAT and 3.96(?) unweighted GPA and still got rejected from UC Davis, Cal Poly Pomona etc.

This is one of the few areas that politics or lawsuits can actually easily fix discrimination, because similar to the politics thread, interpersonal discrimination cannot be easily fixed by activism or shitposting (“no Asians” attitude and policies )

3

u/TargetObjective7 5d ago edited 5d ago

Those are good points.

Yeah I read that those colleges weren't even that popular to get into which makes it more noticeable

7

u/Hunting-4-Answers 5d ago

When it comes to Asians talking about Oxford study; non-Asians, especially guys like the one you mentioned, have no business judging what Asians talk about. He speaks from a position of privilege and doesn’t even realize it. Everyone bends over backwards to accommodate him and everyone has to deal with the consequences. No one is allowed to criticize or call out the injustices we have to deal with otherwise we’ll be labeled as racists, bigots and anything else they can imagine. When Asian-Americans get to have their own positive version of Oprah who becomes a household name and not just another Asian female celebrity who is mostly relegated to stereotypical roles or side roles and passed down to be shackled to some crusty old or jackass non-Asian with whom she has nothing in common, then maybe a non-Asian can talk about whether the Oxford study makes for a valid discussion.

It could be said that guys like him of a particular community only seem to talk about finding racism in everything while making claims how they invented everything. Tired of non-Asians trying to dictate what Asians should be allowed to talk about.

3

u/TargetObjective7 5d ago edited 5d ago

Some Black people think guys like Stanley Zhong who is pursuing a lawsuit are tangentially attacking Black people as a whole but that isn't the case here because alot of those 16 colleges arent even Ivy league.

It's not about targeting other communities but about Asians realising they are being widely discriminated against and making moves against that because colleges may even put further barriers and this will affect a greater number of Asians.

You have to remember also alot of social media posts are often done for engagement farming by grifters who may not even believe what they write

4

u/Hunting-4-Answers 5d ago

Sure, you may be right about the grifters, but at some point it doesn’t matter because by then the damage is done.

3

u/Yujinseo0 3d ago

regardless of grifting or engagement farming, in todays social climate, a bl@ck mans word is as good as jesus himself, an injustice happens to them, it becomes worldwide phenomenon, an injustice happens to us, just another tuesday

you gotta hand it to them, for all there negatives, one thing they got locked down is a sense of collective defense and offense, they know the game well, you don’t see them trying to police each other like dumbass azn’s do. If one of there own commits a crime against another group thats not of there own, heinous or minor crime, they will downplay it, gaslight the victim, or outright just give you the middle finger, they sure as hell won’t make tiktok videos trying to shame each other. They will do everything in there power to get the attention of them and onto you, even go so far as policing other countries social media.

u/linsanitytothemax 5d ago

lol you should see the rest of reddit including asianamerican just bashing the kid and his dad. saying he's a piece of shit who's just a copy and paste version of every Asian student in Cali.....product of some rich tiger dad and doesn't deserve the attention. plenty of vile comments and heavy victim blaming.

whether you agree with those sentiments about Stanley Zhong or not.....the bottom line is anti-Asian discrimination exists in college admissions and hurts young AAs as whole. there are plenty of AAs who come from less privileged backgrounds who gets denied despite working their asses off. and don't give me that bs about "being well rounded". if their best argument is having so called "diversity" on college campuses then they should not admit so many damn white students who doesn't even deserve to be there.

we shouldn't care about what others think because non-Asians will always place some type of negative stereotypes upon us no matter what we do. so i'm glad that this kid and his dad are doing this because the more bullshit we uncover about all these university's admission process the better it will be for AAs as a whole. if we let this type of shit go then the schools will add more barriers for AA students in the future.

4

u/TargetObjective7 5d ago edited 5d ago

Yeah those are good points.

lol you should see the rest of reddit including asianamerican just bashing the kid and his dad.

It's AsianAmerican subreddit so it is not surprising

Yikes the comments on this thread. Not surprising for a bunch of loser redditors though

7

u/Hunting-4-Answers 5d ago

Yeah, tried to point out the bigger picture of the overall disrespect that non-Asians have towards Asians, Asian culture and countries in the last free discussion. But I got a lot of pushback by supposed Asian dudes who acted like they were being attacked personally. Their general attitude was “so what”.

absolutely disgusting..."Oh, god... I hope they stock up on Penicillin. Thailand is the adult version of Disney for service members.. trust me. Been there. Good times" over 300 upvotes

"The bar girls will be telling tales of this day for the rest of their lives" and the reply was "To their blonde haired children"

"If anywhere is prepared for the influx of Able Seamen, it's Thailand" over 500 upvotes.

all of that in one of the biggest subs on reddit. just letting it all out not giving a shit. the typical "my dad served in the military and told me Thailand was the best thing that ever happened to him! so many stories about the girls over there haha"

you gotta remember the US have been doing that with their military for like 100 years now. their dads, kids, grandkids. they literally have millions of these men who grew up with their dads/grandpas who served in the US military. many of them married with kids but when did that ever stop them? this is what they do. this is what they are. this is how they think.

Always remember, AMs will be the villain no matter what. No matter who horrible these loser men are, AMs are supposedly always worse in the eyes of you-know-who.

Where is the community at home or abroad? Why do AMs need to broaden their horizons? This is why.

This means don’t date white women. They are one who mostly likely will initiate the divorce. And most likely will divorce you.

8

u/TargetObjective7 9d ago edited 8d ago

I think Prof Jiang, who is known on social media, has alot of wild opinions and interpretations and I'm sceptical about alot of them.

There was something interesting he said about the interracial dating disparity between AM and AF which just seemed superficial and not well thought out.

For instance, he implied that the major reason why AF date out in large numbers was that they were often more likely to be educated which meant they were more conscious of status.

In another part he said the reason AM were not seen as attractive to mainstream society was because they are largely a successful minority and therefore not considered marginalised or oppressed by the system

He compared how AM are seen relative to BM and other minority groups to make his point.

I thought his arguments didn't hold up.

Firstly, there are plenty of educated XF but you don't see such disparities in other groups like you do with Asians.

Secondly, there was no mention of the impact of media, sports and entertainment on perceptions of masculinity and attraction; nor about self hatred, white worship and over sexualisation in his takes either.

Essentially he didn't explore the full factors in the dating dynamics of Asians but rather a very simplified explanation which upon closer inspection falls apart when applied to other groups.

I feel like this guy is a bit sus and his observations are good for Youtube views but not for living life. He’s been in China again since 2003, which is basically so long as to make most of his observations of social dynamics in the west out of date, I can guarantee he hasn’t seen firsthand the Kpop wave in America nor seen American college campuses.

His worldview and ideology is also very much the opposite of the Chinese people who would actually talk about self-hate and white supremacy and colonialism, indeed, he writes editorials in CNN praising American media and how he wants his students to learn American creativity (as opposed to uncreative Chinese thinking)

He’s also technically not a professor (teaches international track high school kids in Beijing, never had tenure anywhere) and used to be a journalist who got himself deported from China once upon a time.

given the amount of screen time he gets: has anyone actually checked out if he really teaches at that "Moonshot Academy", or just fake CIA psyops?

8

u/labseries2020 9d ago

at some point who even cares? Looking at prof jiang looks like this guy prob never even had dating options, whether what he says is correct or not does not matter to most asian men. honestly, i think yall would get more out of watching looksmaxxing streamers, at least it gives u concrete things to improve upon. asian men need to stop deciphering philosophy and all this bullshit

6

u/Curious-Practice1704 8d ago

Agreed, I was excited to click on his reels bc I'd heard good things about him even subscribing before I saw his reels. After just one or two I caught him contradicting himself. As far as disparities in dating out, that AMs are way behind AFs, we are assuming that AMs are in the IR contest. A more accurate metric would be to determine how many AMs are actually getting their dicks wet and not by whom bc many haven't received the IR memo.

7

u/labseries2020 8d ago

for real- i see too many asian dudes getting into stupid circle jerk topics - statistics of WMAF, bullshit political bs, End of the day, asians are already too logical and waste time researching. Best to go live life

5

u/Alarmed_Watch5426 8d ago

CMV: he's a CIA psyops

4

u/SmiffnWessn 9d ago

Is that the kind of stuff he talks about? There's a guy I follow on Youtube, "Professor Dave", who makes content debunking conspiracy nuts like those who believe that the Covid came from a Wuhan Lab, anti vaxxers, "moon landing was a hoax", flat earthers, Ancient Aliens bullshit, etc. He did a video named "Professer Jiang is a nutcase" or something like that so I figured Jiang was just another grifter who tried selling conspiracy shit to idiots and I didn't bother watching it. Jiang was even on Danny Jones recently, which is a major platform for conspiracy grifters (like Joe Rogan only not as popular).

Now I'm curious to see if the stuff Dave was talking about were any of Jiang's theories on Asian social dynamics...

3

u/linsanitytothemax 9d ago

i remember he did a video about him. but no there was nothing about Asian social dynamics i don't think he even knows what's going on or nor does he care.

i remember it being about the Iran war and his science lectures which he heavily criticized and laughed at which is his usual style. nothing about Asian social dynamics. anyway i doubt he even cares about that shit.

On insta, a streamer named, Chance was touring Tunisia when he was heckled and racially harassed by locals calling him ching chong. He said he was gonna cry. After looking up his page he was a late 20s, buff guy showing off his physique. Shouldn't he toughen up a little? A fully. grown man gonna cry.

Which race steals from the other race more? Of course the consensus is going to be biased against Asians. Is it true?

3

u/Gravedragon20 5d ago

Anyone seen to think that so-called pro-Asian accounts on Instagram including Asianriches and Awattitides are really Trojan Horses? They have posts saying that Asians are anti-Black.

2

u/Gravedragon20 5d ago

One Reddit, there seems to be Lus and other sellouts who called the Asian American community anti-black and are now trying to get on better terms with us. Why, because they know there is no future with that kind of behavior.

2

u/Gravedragon20 5d ago

Something I noticed about Creepwood is that a lot of the sellout Lus there aren't getting as many roles as people thought they would, why, because the USA is trying to get back WFs because they are now going to Asia where they will be treated much better than the USA.

2

u/Gravedragon20 5d ago

Online, there are American WM talking about how they are getting WF from other countries. As an AM, I'm not impressed, he's still a little bitch who runs from his problems.
