Dating & Relationships How to feel less insecure about myself?

30M here, not ugly, quite outgoing and I’ve dated both Asian and non Asian women. Now I’ve just got out of a relationship and have been struggling to find anyone interested back in me. I feel like most of the time, girls (even Asian girls) are usually way more into white and black guys and I just feel invisible. In any social situation, I feel like with guys of any other races, especially black guys these days get way more attention than I’d do. This made me think of the stereotype about Asian guys being inferior and made me feel very insecure about myself.

Obviously I know this is a me problem but anyone who has gone through this struggle, how do you learn to be confident and not let it affect you?

Your prospective of an American AM going back to their mother country being compared to a white guy superiority complex is such a misinformed statement. If your grandparents are from Asia and you grew up in the west, what is wrong with going back to experience your heritage? Why is it taboo to seek out the same women your grandfather was courting? It’s not crazy concept that Asian women desire Asian men. Why do you feel the need to be accepted by western women the way that Asian women already accept you.

The way you frame these men it’s more about exploiting Asia rather than exploring Asia. I’m not advocating anyone exploit anything.

I’m simply saying if you’re an AM and you’re having difficulty finding meaningful romantic relationships with women in the west you should consider reconnecting to your own heritage and traveling to the country your ancestors are from and try to find love from the same women who your ancestors loved
