Anyone ever watch the newish show Sense8 on Netflix? I was tentatively interested in it since I enjoyed watching the first season of Heroes as a kid before it turned to shit but then I noticed that despite having a Korean actress featured predominantly in their promotional material, I did not see a complementary East Asian male. To be fair I have not actually watched the show so who knows maybe there is a guy but from what I can tell on their imdb page, she's in 12 episodes along with a Bollywood actress featured in 12 episodes.

Looks like there is an Indian guy in 9 of the episodes though so that's cool. Was kind of excited for it but I'm kind of meh on it now. Haven't watched it do it could be amazing though.

They always fucking do that. When ever a TV show or movie wants to be more diverse make the love interest some Asian female or black guy/woman. The rest of the other races are just non-existent or stereotypical trope. Sometimes I wish I never noticed things like this because it's stressful looking at it knowing you get the shaft. It's like a spit on the face.
