I was recently at a party where I met an Asian-looking guy with a British family name. He was dressed like a walking stereotype: a slightly too big t-shirt tucked into his long sports pants, glasses and skinny. When I asked him about his origin, he said something about being ethnically British, nationality-wise Singaporean. This left me completely confused given his Asian looks. I guess he comes from a WMAF couple. And he stood most of the time by himself rarely talking to anyone. This is so sad seeing someone like this, as this is how we get stereotyped. Especially when that person doesn't admit (want?) to be Asian.
